I was hoping this was somehow for the PS3 version.
A man can dream.
A man can dream.
This wouldn't make the game passable for an Intel HD 3000 system, would it?
all this tweaking and fiddling isn't worth it, that's why your primary gaming machine is a console.I was hoping this was somehow for the PS3 version.

I don't wanna sound mean but... Bethesda should fire their programmers and hire some... real programmers. Seriously.

A 40% performance increase isn't worth copying over some files in a folder? Who could say that?
So instead of people just being happy, we need to use this to trash the ones who actually made the game?

Just saw the edit.. So to be clear, the performance improvement comes at a cost of possible scripting errors? In that case, not sure if worth it..
You understand that the scripting errors are just a result of this being made through trial and error? They haven't got a QA team, they are modders. They need to release to the community so they can find these problems. So Bethesda should have released a game with widespread scripting errors?
Yeah... I don't understand it either. So instead of people just being happy, we need to use this to trash the ones who actually made the game?

Oddly enough Bethesda appear to think that the same rule applies to them.
Someone in one of the forum threads said the scripting errors might actually be from the most recent patch (can't find the post right now), so it's not confirmed if it's due to the mod.
If I'm loading my game via skse_loader.exe, does that mean it's bypassing my 4GB launcher?
I don't think it's necessary to use 4gb launcher now that the Skyrim update added the LAA fix.

I just tested, the situation in the op is broken with the plugin, but not with the normal exe (up to date).
You ignore the pride people have in their work.
They want it to be as good as possible, like anyone else.

it's also possible this mod is increasing performance so much because it's breaking the game in some way
1) Bethesda doesn't give a fuck about optimizing their games on PS3
- ok I kinda, sorta understand it, PS3 is just not their market
2) Bethesda doesn't give a fuck about optimizing their games on PC
- wait what???
Maybe they should just go Xbox exclusive, lazy fucks.
I'm appaled by the fact that developers didn't put even a slightest effort into optimisation. How come that amateurs and users have to fix PERFOMANCE problems for your game?
It's stupidity-bound on PS3.I suspect it's more GPU and RAM-bound on PS3.
So this is still useless because of the scripting errors but I have to keep my eye on it right?

Yeah I started a new character today and played a shit ton and did not see a single scripting error.
Anyways crazy how threads like this always turn into bethesda bashing.. Skyrim runs great on my dated PC.
Eh. A lazy port is still better than being forced to play a game on a console.
crossfire 6950. would i see much of an improvement in performance?

Bethesda has been making poorly optimised PC versions since Oblivion, so this isn't exactly new to Skyrim.
Though Oblivion was much, much worse.
...Bethesda, for some reason, compiled the game without using any of the optimization flags for release builds.
