Skyrim was buggy? I really dont remember. Wasent it another game by Bestesda that was buggy as hell, Fallout Online?

Skyrim was an abject mess at launch. Like fucking insane bugs. Poster here mentioned it; backwards dragons, falling through world, monsters warping, companions disappearing, etc... it's buggy to this day.

Also yea Fallout 76 got bombed on launch due to bugs. FO76 might take the cake above both.

I got killed by a gigantic crowbar in FO76 before I quit. I mean it was the size of a lamp post.

skyrim was pretty bad on release, and in my mind, a much worse game than cyberpunk. but cyberpunk has hard crashed like once an hour for me on my ps5 which skyrim never did so i'm voting cyberpunk
Strange, what's going on with PS5? I'm playing on XsX an no crashes at all. The only game that crashed on me is Valhalla...

Thinking then i didnt bought it at launch, my memory is default here, cant remember! Kinda special cause i was a huge fan of Morrowind, Oblivion, it seem during that time i must have skipped it at launch... probably i was playing WoW is my guess 😁

Outside of a few graphical glitches I didn't really have any major problems with Skyrim on the Xbox 360 so even though I'm not playing it until the Series X version drops, based on what I've seen in videos CP2077 gets my vote.

Skyrim was worse than Cyberpunk & Skyrim Special Edition still has bugs from the very first release because Bethesda never really tried to fix their broken shit.

Didn't Skyrim have this bug where, after a lot of playtime, the save file was just to big to handle?

I mean I could deal with small bugs, but imagine losing your progress to something like that.

Both are very similar. At last Cyber Punk has very nice character models. Skyrim had nothing going for it. I don't understand why it's so highly regarded.

Cyberpunk, hands down. I played unpatched Skyrim on PS3 to completion. It was bad but it was nowhere near as bad as some people like to say. It rarely crashed on me and took a couple of hours before it really began to chug and even then I didn't always feel the need to restart, depending on where I was. The main bug I remember aside from that was that after a few hours play some textures would stop loading, but a quick restart always fixed it.

Skyrim on the PS3 was literally unplayable once your save file reached a certain size. It took a long time for this issue to get "fixed" too. I haven't encountered anything that bad in Cyberpunk. Mostly visual glitches.

Skyrim on the PS3 was even worse than Cyberpunk on the PS4

But on PC and Xbox 360 it was way more playable than Cyberpunk is on the One and PC

On PC Cyberpunk can look amazing and run great (if you have a decent rig), but it has some game breaking stuff that if you go deep into the game (more than 20h) you will definitely experience them.

Not once in Skyrim I had broken quests or crashes to desktop

I haven't played Cyberpunk yet, but Skyrim's legendary crashes were such a headache at launch and were a continous problem for years

Eh, I got Skyrim on PS4 at launch and loved it.

The big showstopping save file bug that tanked framerate didn't really manifest until 40 or so hours in, so I never really noticed it. It also had a plethora of animation bugs, but while actually playing the game they felt few and far between.

The save file bug is probably a worse bug than anything Cyberpunk has, but Cyberpunk seems buggier overall.

Not sure this a serious question or people are just mad because of this game.

Theres a difference between a game with bugs and a bug simulator.

Skyrim is a bug simulator and its not even debatable. Be as mad at your own will, but comparing anything to Skyrim in terms of bugs and glitches is not a honest comparison. Any live being that played Skyrim would know that.

I think it'll be hard to judge. Like I can't remember many issues about Skyrim on PS3, despite playing from launch, but others have had a nightmare with it on PS3. WhyNotBoth.gif

Skyrim.
Backwards flying dragons.
Save being messed up on ps3 if you had 100 or so items dropped into the world or something like that. After that performance would go down to 2fps or save would corrupt.

didnt the baclwards flying dragon glitch come with a later patch?

Skyrim PS3 was more playable than CP PS4. Of course, I am not playing CP on PS4, so I can only go by videos. I did play Skyrim on PS3.

The fact that poll is 50/50 just shows how overblown this bug situation is. No way you can honestly tell me Skyrim at launch ran better

I still have video and bug counts from Skyrim. Skyrim was NOT as bad as Unity day one. Unity not being on the list is stunning
That being said. Cyberpunk in pure count for me and just...wtfuckness that happens

Using the exact launch day version with only the day 1 patch, and comparing the base consoles of PS3 and PS4, I would say that cyberpunk is buggier, I got 3 bluescreen crashes in 4 hours on the 1st day. This is somewhat of an unfair comparison though because of the specific "day 1" clause, by day 3 I'd say things have reversed. I have played many more hours in cyberpunk since then with only one blue screen crash (still many little bugs) using patch 1.04 which came out after a few days.

Skyrim, it isn't something you feel on launch day unless you're playing with a catheter, but aside from the usual broken quest line bugs and weird little things, the PS3 memory leak that caused performance to gradually get worse and worse the more you play was the vilest cancer ever. This is a PS3 thing only, true, and you probably won't notice it on launch day because it increases with hours invested, but likewise the biggest problems in cyberpunk are on the base consoles too. It was a fatal bug the game had since launch that punishes time spent with increasingly bad performance.

Look at some footage:

So on the one hand skyrim was criminally broken on PS3 at launch and stayed that way for a long time, but you weren't likely to see the worst of it on launch day. Cyberpunk was noticably very buggy and chuggy on PS4 at launch, and while patches have improved things rapidly, there's a limit to what they can do. Performance is still bad. But the more I play the game the more I enjoy it. Cyberpunk doesn't perform worse and worse exponentially the more time you spend in the game's world like Skyrim.
