Which game do you guys like best?

I think for me its a close win for Witcher 3 with RDR 2 right behind it. Skyrim is an easy third

For me it's BOTW. I liked the gameplay and exploration, which felt far more rewarding than the other games where you spend most of the time following a gps.

BoTW for me because how easy to pick up and chill the game is.

Skyrim in second place. I always liked the elder scrolls series. It just works for me. :p

was torn between Witcher 3 and BOTW. both fantastic games. Witcher 3 wins because i got more time out it and the story/characters were more memorable.

BOTW is a bit thin on story but it was still one of the best open world games i've ever played.

Skyrim was great when it came out but hasn't aged well at all.

GTA 5/RDR2 both had enjoyable stories but Rockstar can only make pretty looking maps. At first you want to explore them but eventually you get tired of them and just want to get the story finished.

Cyberpunk is just a broken rushed and unfinished mess. This probably hurts the most because i really wanted a proper RPG in Night City with Cyberpunk lore but CDPR messed it up completely.

As much respect as I lost for CDPR after the Cyberjank debacle...I still have to say The Witcher 3.
cyberpunk is a mess and yeah CDPR's reputation is damaged but so what? The Witcher 3 was and still is an amazing game. Credit to CDPR for making that game. After playing it i lost interest in a lot of other open world RPGs.

look at the state Rockstar are in now....just because the GTA trilogy sucks doesn't make GTA V/IV or the original III/VC/SA games bad does it?

BoTW, Witcher 3, and RDR 2 are GOATED games and so hard to choose but, well..... I made my choice. IMO BoTW and W3 tie for first with RDR 2 in second.

Witcher 3 > Cyberpunk > RDR2 > Skyrim > BOTW > GTA V.

When the graphics get too good i just hate all the criminals i play in GTA games.

Can't say anything about Skyrim (not played yet, because of how shit Fallout is) and Cyberpunk (waiting for next-gen version).

So for me, on this list, it's:

Witcher 3 >>> RDR 2 >> GTA5 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bore of the Wild

I would have rated other games higher than all of these, but OP didn't have any options for them.

The Witcher 3.

Best compromise of gameplay, fun, story, controls, content, side quests, atmosphere and visuals. Any other game is lacking too significantly in one or more of those areas.

Skyrim for me, its atmosphere, thanks to the awesome Jeremy Soule's musics, is still unmatched until this day.

I'm literally traveling with this game, I won't even talk about the VR version <3

All those games offer a different experience, as a matter of fact if you call yourself an open world fanatic you should play them all

1. BOTW is my #2 best game of all time. (Super Metroid is #1)

2. Skyrim is up there among the top 5 as well.

3. RDR2 was amazing, for one playthrough.

4. Cyberpunk 2077 on PC with mods is awesome.

5. The Witcher 3, great game but I dropped it, couldn't deal with the combat jank.

6. GTA5, haven't played it.

I mean...I'm not exactly a huge fan of GTA4 or 5, so I'm probably the worst person to ask that. The thing is that The Witcher 3 wasn't that long ago, and the added context of Cyberpunk made me look at The Witcher 3 more critically. It shares a lot of the same problems...they're just less obvious because it's a very different game. Before Cyberpunk I would've said it was perfect...now...not so much. It's still the best on that list, hands down...but its luster has been tarnished for me...

Open World RPGs is the genre I've had to sacrifice as I've aged. There simply are too many other games I'd rather spend my time on than multi 100+ hour fetch quests.

Of the list, I've played Skyrim and BOTW. Skyrim with mod support is arguably the greatest open world game to exist (vanilla and official DLC is slightly overrated).

Skyrim,

Better replayability and the dialogue isn't enormous, also, combat system is bad but better than Witcher 3

Rdr2 shouldn't be here, that is a great cinematic but a bad game, no gameplay or skill involved at all, also graphics aren't that great either, worst money I've ever spent on games.
