I though it was just ok. Glad I only spent $5 on it.
Edit: to go a little more in depth, I felt that the combat was an unfinished beta version of the Batman Arkham games. The combat felt slow and stiff.
Regular movement was slow as hell so driving was the go too way but I didn't care for the mechanics of that either.
Most of the main story missions were really repetitive and usually revolved around chasing someone or being chased.
I won't even mention the WOAT gunplay mechanics.
Kind of a drunk thread, but then again, goddamn, Sleeping Dogs is so good.
I can't even explain. The combat is amazing, but does it explain it? The driving is... well, it's competent, so it can't be that.
The characters are charming, the story is kind of weird, the DLCs are just tonally opposite to the main game.
Agreed! I just started a new playthrough on ps4 earlier today. So good - even though the graphics are a bit dated, obviously.
I loved it. Hoping for a sequel (maybe it was announced and I missed it?).
It only gives me sad memories now that I'll never get a sequel. I loved the setting so much. I'm tired of LA and fucking new york
Also, Wei Shen is THE karaoke champion.
