Animal hair in the bed is unacceptable.
Yeah, my ex loves her dog more than anything. I learned from experience that you can't speak objectively about an animal's intelligence and status in relation to humans. Some people have connections to their animals that logic and reason can't penetrate. You're basically going to be competing with that dog for attention and affection
Think about if that's what you want to be doing with your time in this relationship
Maybe I'm hanging out with the wrong people, but most of my friends who have dogs that aren't big(50+lbs) are okay with their dog sleeping on the bed. Mine sleeps at the foot of the bed, but I also bathe him every other week.I didn't know sleeping next to your dog was considered disgusting until this thread.
The dog is a member of her family, who depends heavily on her. She's going to be more attentive to it than some dude she just met. And that's exactly as it should be.
Is her dog a cuckold?
You not liking her dog is probably going to be the dealbreaker for her
Missing the green waves...Get a second dog...
She's constantly making out with it,
What the hell just happened? GAF has a group for every issue that will bombard a thread with overly harsh judgments. Disgusting to let a dog sleep on a bed? Disgusting? This is actually the first time in my 36 years that I have ever heard that word use for such act.
Regarding the OP, yeah, that does sound annoying.
Well yeah but there are people calling it disgusting that the dog sleeps on the bed.No, the more disgusting part is where she is making out with the dog.
Yep. My doxie sleeps in our bed every night. The giant dog tries to as well, but he's too big. What the hell does 'making out' with a dog mean? Is she like, licking his mouth, because um...

Yep, disgusting, gross, unhygienic and not good for them (it makes them have a high emotional dependency). I have a dog and I love it, but I don't forget it's an animal and I don't humanize it.What the hell just happened? Making out with the dog and keeping an unclean apartment are bigger dealbreakers than letting the dog sleep on the bed...
I also have a dog and he rarely sleeps with us but you are misusing the words gross and disgusting. A clean dog sleeping on a comforter is none of those things. The argument of creating emotional dependency has nothing to do with cleanliness either. Save those words for many of life's truly disgusting things or they lose meaning when you attempt to use them.Yep, disgusting, gross, unhygienic and not good for them (it makes them have a high emotional dependency). Sounds like a girl I dated once. It will absolutely become a deal breaker.Recently started talking to a girl, and we hung out a couple of times. I go over to her house for the first time. She is in love with her dog. Putting it nicely, it is obnoxious. Loud, jumps all over me, scratches, gets hair everywhere, smelly. She's constantly making out with it, which I think is gross as that thing did not have good breath. and the whole apt is torn up and covered in hair.
Anyways, come to find out she sleeps with it. Every night. I asked her where I'd sleep and she said it would be in between us. I asked her if the dog could sleep somewhere else and she said absolutely not.
Is a girl sleeping with her dog a deal breaker? Like if she won't budge.
Sleeping with your animals is disgusting and unhygienic. They have poop and stuff on them.
