Slow days at work...

do i hate slow days at work? No
What do you do? Gaf all day everyday baby.
This thread bringed to mind a recent problem i had with one of my personal, it seems that my superiors saw that one of my them was playing candy crush in work time in facebook, and doin some comments about how bored was the job at the moment, so obviously they went on me, asking things like, dont you people have work to do? and actually we dont, right now we have all in perfect order, so we have a lot of spare time, i can go out, to my house, do other things etc, but the other employees doesnt have those privilegies, so my boss asked me to put some more work for them, but the thing is, i dont have more job for this shift, the night shift does all the small things, so everything is fine.
i asked my employees to stop using facebook, and CC in hours of job, or at least play it offline, if not i will have to get them some more job, they seem to understand, but one asked if they can just delete our boss, i said no.
what would you do in this situation?

In some ways I do feel guilty, in other ways, I have to realize they are paying me for my time. There's an opportunity cost involved.
If they pay me $30/hr to do nothing, it's because they don't want me running off to another job.

same. been slow the past few weeks. multiple features i'm assigned to are on hold until other people finish there parts.
