Might use these instead, since stores are getting rid of their Easter candy...

Bought the ingredients for this plus double stuffed Oreos. Baking it for my colleagues. :) it's going to be real test trying to NOT eat any of it ;p cheap. The whole thing cost $12? "This is why ure fat"

Pretty good, I must say. Though I will advise AGAINST using Reese peanut butter cups. It's good on paper, but it really just all melts into hot fudge and makes a mess of the thing. Oreo's are absolutely the way to go for this!

Made some of these myself last night with oreos and reese's and I froze the reese's solid before baking them and it allowed them to remain solid long enough for the brownie and cookie to form around it and allowed it to keep its shape. I'll post some pics later today.

What the fuck did I do wrong. My brownie batter wasn't gooey at all. It was so viscous... like molasses.

I will have to make this again.

Enough water?
Did you use an electric mixer?
Says you need at least 70 rpm if you are going manual.

Still have no idea why people want subpar pb in their brownie with the Reese. There is already too much chocolate.

Definitely doing a batch of these up this weekend. Anybody know of a caramel filled cookie to throw in instead of the oreos? I'm pulling blanks.

Kind of thinking about making these. Might do half Oreo, half just the brownie / cookie combo. That way if no one likes the Oreo we still have some.

Making this right now. I replaced regular oreos with peanut butter oreos. I know, I'm a fucking rebel!

So when people say the Reese's turn into a hot fudge mess, is it a good, tasty, gooey kind of mess or just nasty?

It sounds like frozen might work though. My wife and her sister are making this this weekend and I think they might try something else with the Reeses. Either by getting some Reese's chips and mixing those into the brownie batter or crumbling up some miniature Reeses cups and sprinkling it as a garnish on the top.

I froze the Reese's before baking them and they held their shape perfectly.

I just let the Reeses-infused brownies cool. After about an hour and some change, it seemed solid again.

Seems like frozen reeses would take longer to melt, but still melt, and freezing them ups the chance of disaster somewhat, and the prep time obviously.

Maybe put the brownies in the fridge after making them would make them cool better and faster?

Just made some right now... didn't turn out that great (visually)

There is waaaaay too much cookie dough in the OP's recipe, eventhough I made 50% more brownie batter it wasn't enough.

The result was that the cookie dough rose through the brownie batter at various spots, tilting the layers and oreos, so it was rather messy. Next time less cookie dough and less baking powder.

I also ended up cooking it in the oven double the time from the recipe, still way too gooey. Needs extra cooling time next time.

The taste is awesome though

Oh my god my body!

Last night I had 3 (pretty big) pieces of the cake. The first was godly, the 2nd was also great but it was as if I could start feeling the sugar flowing in my veins. After the 3rd piece it felt like I had become one with the brownies. I now understand that the name Slutty Brownies actually does not refer to the brownies themselves, but rather the state you can reach through the brownies...

After feeling like shit all night... I had another piece for breakfast this morning...

So I live in Sweden, and here I can easily get Oreos but the mixes for brownies and chocolate chip cookies is way harder. Has anyone made these from scratch and what recipes did you use? And fellow Swedes, do you think I can substitute the brownie with kladdkaka (mudcake) instead?

What? I made it from scratch and bought everything in my local Netto. I live in Denmark and used the recipe from the op. I guess brown sugar and vanilla extract may not be available in most stores, but using only white sugar instead of brown sugar will hardly make a difference. They didn't have unsalted butter the day I shopped for ingredients, but I just used regular salted butter and dropped using any other salt from the recipe.

Good luck

When I first saw the recipe for these it included dry mixes, as in "add water and oil and you're done"-mixes. The pictures in the OP are from the site I found it on, so I assumed the link was to that recipe. Glad I was wrong though, will probably make these next week when I get money.
