Smash Bros Cloud, Corrin, and Bayonetta Amiibo will release on July 21st

Don't really understand the leap in logic from these amiibos actually coming out soon to Smash 4 Switch not being a thing. One has nothing to do with the other. I think Smash is gonna be a 2018 title anyway.

Considering we knew these amiibos were already done awhile ago (At least conceptually, we had a tease of a full figure from platinum in the case of bayo).

I would say if anything, we see Smash Switch at E3 and these end up selling more based on that hype alone. Which is probably the plan.

I wouldn't count Smash 4 Deluxe out just yet since I like to cling with low expectation but I do admits that it might increase the chance that upcoming Smash might have more new contents than people expected.
 
I got an order in on Best Buy for the Smash and Splatoon 2 amiibo but this was part of my confirmation email:

The descriptions don't match the models.
 
Preordered Cloud and Bayo from Best Buy. I assume that FF7 Cloud and Bayo 2 Bayonetta are the standard ones and the "alt" costumes are retailer exclusive.
 
Threw money at best buy, glad I did since I didn't know I had 10$ off that expired in a month. Now to wait and see what I actually ordered...

For those assuming this means no Switch version soon, I think the alternate costumes actually could mean it's a deluxe version and we'll be getting costume amiibo like Alph. Rest in piece wallet.
 
I locked in Cloud, Corrin, and Bayonetta at Best Buy. Don't even know which version they are, lol. I figure I should be able to walk into a store and get the Splatoon ones come launch day.
 
I didn't expect them to announce 2 Clouds and 2 Bayonettas. Definitely getting those 4 when they are released. I might get the FE ones just to keep my mission of trying to complete the Smash set, but I couldn't care less about that series, the only reason I bought their amiibo was for completion's sake.

Most people were expecting Smash Switch to be a quick port. The amount of time it seems to be taking for the game get even announced seems to be suggesting there'll be no straight port of the 3ds/WiiU game and it'll be its own thing.
 
I'd bet on gamestop getting Bayo 1. AC Cloud is the wild card. If BB had a exclusive, i'd think it would have gone up with the others.

Yeah, I recall another rumor said while it would be using the WiiU game as a base. It was effectively going to be it's own sequel. Which is fine by me, no reason to fix what aint broke.
