I LOVE the art style -- much better than Brawl. And Villager and Mega Man ... not bad choices! This is already amazing.

Am I the only one disappointed that they are using the male villager? This was a great opportunity to bring some girl power into Smash. Oh well.
I like that it looks like Pit will get a new move-set that incorporates some of the weapons he uses in Kid Icarus Uprising.
While I don't care much which version they chose, I'm glad it's a lefty Link again.
No way can they drop a rep from the Mother series. At least I hope not.
Maybe Girl villager is an alt. model, similar to Wario? It could easily work.

I noticed Samus has her sleeker M:OM Varia suit. I preferred the bulkier Metroid II/Super Metroid one.

I really didn't expect the villager to make it in, after an Animal Crossing character wasn't included in Brawl due to the series not being action-based. Megaman is also kind of a surprise. I know that he was very wanted, but I didn't think Capcom would go with him after their recent treatment of the franchise.
Also, the video seemed to confirm we'll get an adventure mode/Subspace Emissary again looking at some sequences that showed only one playable character on screen and the Megaman boss at the end. The Megaman redesign is kind of interesting. The previous guest characters didn't really get "Smash-exclusive" designs. Snake was a mix of 2 designs and Sonic was a Sega model.

Man, Megaman is just so beautifully well realized. He almost looks like Ariga Megaman. The game also looked fucking slick, very clean visuals and the models were great.

Cel-shaded is 3DS, the other one is Wii U.
Wow, the 3DS version is looking very impressive then.

Look at his arms, he has that blue thing on it like in SS while TP link has two brown armguards and of course the pants are the same baggy ones from SS, it's just that his model is mirrored so he could be left handed.

That didn't look like TP link at all. He looked different in the face. I'm sure that's the new link model for the next Zelda game.

The 3DS version looks horrible, but holy fuck at the Wii U renders. OMG they look better than I expected. Praiseeeeee. It really looks nice, I'm surprised anyone could be disappointed at the renders.
The invite infront Tom Nook though... I thought that was a massive tease. I was expecting him to snatch it. Loved how the screen went black before the Megaman reveal too. I was like that was it? But the Megaman reveal was worth it. Surprised we only got two characters, but great additions. Hope we get a female villager alternate too

Mega Man 2 music - good to see they went with the best soundtrack. 
Holy crap, freakin' nerdgasm'd at the reveal. Got a good laugh out of Villager being playable and had a blast watching Mega Man be revealed. Such awesomeness.
So we've got 3 different Zelda titles represented, a Skyward Sword stage, Twilight Princess, and on the 3DS, a Spirit Tracks stage.
& Pit now has a weapon from Uprising. Wonder if he'll get a reworked moveset.

The blurry trailer made me fill the lack of detail with my imagination and everything somehow looked better...

They still got time so I expect things to look better whenever it gets released, but some screenshots are quite unappealing. I wonder how much is not finished...
