Snake Pass direct feed Nintendo Switch trailer

I'll wait for reviews on this one. I really get no sense of whether this game is well made based on the footage so far.

Looking awesome as ever. Still eager to hear impressions of the complexity of the control scheme, and whether other platforms are confirmed locked above 30 fps or unlocked.

Looking at the fire area in particular, it definitely seems like the main thing that's taken a hit in the Switch port is lighting effects. Still, if that gets it running at 1080p30 on the system, I'd take it.

You can't really tell from this video, but based on a different video on Sumo Digitals YouTube channel, it seems draw distance/LOD is reduced.

I think the Joy-Cons are what sell this game on Switch. But I'll either get it on PS4 or PC first for 60 FPS. And then maybe double dip when the Switch version eventually goes on sale.

The snake looks like an animated asset.

As in not convincing in any way.

Not sure what you're meaning here. The snake is fully physics driven and you need to actually move like a real snake to be able to move forward, coiling and releasing to move across the ground. Its pretty impressive actually.

If you mean the face... Its directly controlled by the player, so hard to get the face to match the head exactly, but I think they've done a pretty damn good job

Gonna buy it, it looks fun and i wanna see how being a snake shake the gameplay formula.

About snakes in videogames, i'd love a "snake rattle ´n roll" remake.

I was talking about the face and how it doesn't actually look alive.

I guess thats true.
