I think you mean Specter of Torment. Plague of Shadows is already out and a free addition to base Shovel Knight copies. Just like how Specter of Torment is free for those who have already bought Shovel Knight; they just have to wait until April to play it instead of getting it on Switch at launch.

Yeah, that's what I meant. It looks like a great expansion. Better than the first from what I've seen. I'll probably bite for $10 on Switch, mainly because I love Shovel Knight and want more of it ASAP.

Really great news, but as I'm already blowing $600CAD on just Zelda Master Edition and a Neon Switch, I think I'll stick with the demo for now and get my fill of multiplayer mayhem from Bomberman and Fast Racing RMX. Though I do want to get this and 1-2-Switch eventually as well.

Yeah, I figured. I just wanted to make sure. I'll probably get Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove on launch, because I'm fine with double-dipping and it'll get me a way to be more willing to replay Shovel Knight along with getting Specter of Torment. I'll probably triple dip if they release a physical Switch cart when everything's out like they said they hope to do later.

Hey, that's pretty good. I was shocked that this and Ultra Street Fighter II weren't launch titles.

A bit OT but Ultra Street Fighter II was really rough at the demo I went to last month, you needed to access a hidden debug menu to switch from pixel mode to hand-drawn art. I get that it's not ready, although I don't really get why.

I wouldn't mind paying extra for online to be added later. Especially if Nintendo wants their "new" online infrastructure to be seen as more viable. The switch needs to do well local and online. Paying a little bit more for a feature that should've been included and sold at $25 is something that I would rather have. I wouldn't mind a longer wait. But it's alright I still love Nintendo because of their local multiplayer! And instead of going online being able to actually go and see your friends and play together is still something special.
