A dog can hurt someone without intending to hurt someone.

There's a difference between the two.

Yes, this is common sense. I simply do not find it funny or amusing considering that children were involved and seriously hurt. Better that the dog be taken care of then allow something like that to happen again.

Yes because 3 children got bitten meanwhile gaf is going, "Lulz, he's playing!"
Fuck. That. Shit.
Do you really think that dog was not just trying to play? Even his tail is wagging the entire time. It's unfortunate he bit some kids but I would guess based on the way he's acting in the video that he's probably playing too hard. That doesn't excuse it but you're acting like this is some ferocious animal that is trying to kill people which is definitely not the case

Who said kids getting hurt was funny?

Seeing grown as folk pull a switchblade, and putting up dukes benny hill style is hilarious though.

Yes, it's always funny to see how people react when they feel they may be bodily harmed and probably will. I'll have to remember that social rule and laugh at people more when they're in distress or danger.

Thanks Gaf.

You're going to need some oxygen at that altitude.

At least this mutt was 'playing around' and the result was only sending 3 children to the hospital. One of the first pitbull stories in a while without details like "face torn off" or "badly mutilated corpse" so I'd say everyone managed to do pretty well for themselves considering they were all placed in danger by the owners of a historically violent breed of dog.

I love how people are calling for the extinction of pitbulls when other breeds are just as dangerous and violent, if not more so than pitbulls.

HUR HUR FUNNY LITTLE DOGGIE OBVIOUSLY THE SHITTY OWNERS R TO BLAME FOR THIS, MY PITBULL ROCKS AND HAS NEVER VIOLENTLY TEARED OF THE FACE OF MY KID.

Edit: Ok, I saw the random belt throwing, totally worth the 3 kids in the hospital now.

It's hilarious and a bit comforting to me that for all our social and technological development over the thousands of years that when a group of people are confronted with a dangerous animal we react in the same exact way we have since day 1.
Don't lump me in with those people.

Fuck off asshole. Pitbulls are NOT the devil incarnate. There are other breeds of dogs just as dangerous. Yes, shitty owners of ANY dog will cause a dog to not behave as he/she should. Yes the dog needs to be put down since he hurt three children, whether he meant to or not.

May I ask, which kind of dog breed you own? Is it a pitbull?

Currently, I do not own a dog.

I have owned an American Bulldog before, a Dalmatian, a Chow, several mutts, an American Staffordshire, and some small runt of a mutt dog I don't recall what his mixture was. This is from being a child up to a year or so ago when I moved from the country to a more urban area. None of my dogs ever bit anyone for no reason. Only one of them bit someone, and it was because someone came into our yard and physically attacked my little brother, so he defended the pack.

If you are trying to imply that me telling you to fuck off with your Hurr Durr attitude and all caps smugness means I must own a pitbull and must fight it or something well, sorry to tell you that's not the case.

Edit: The one that bit the guy was the little mutt of a dog btw. In case you were wondering.

A dog walks into a barber shop and the reactions are kat williams pulling a switchblade, one dude belt throwing and a third dude fist fighting a dog.

Ice cube couldn't make this shit up if he wanted to.

have an overstimulated young dog? all types of dogs bite kids and people all the time. it happens. we shouldn't kill every dog every time for any type of incident.

Heh. That dog looked pretty playful. Obviously it was biting too hard but they probably could have stopped it by just calmly approaching the dog or squirting water at it. A barbershop should have a squirt bottle.

You know dogs wag their tail while they're in fight drive, right?

Also, he bit kids before he got there and went and attacked another kid after the dog was shooed out of the shop.

Owners had a dog they shouldn't have had (news story showed big "HOUSE PROTECTED BY ATTACK DOG" signs on their yard), and are fucking lucky the dog didn't maul their own kid.

Yeah, but the dog just doesn't really seem all that aggressive in either video. It looks like a dog that wants to play tug of war with a chew toy.

My post wasnt even aimed at you, notice the one minute difference, every pitbull thread there is some guy that blames the victim and the owners for the attack and never the dog and while that might be true you cant deny that the breed was engineered to be esentially violent pieces of shit whose funtion were fighting against bulls, other pitbulls and even bear! Most domestic animal attacks are pitbull-related, theres a patern there and it cant be denied.

And as you said, it was a mutt that sent 3 kids to the hospital, its comforting to know it will be put down before it becomes an adult.

Did you see the one dude pick his belt up and put it back on at the end, like it was just a matter of course? Dog walks in...throw belt.

The guy in white throws a kid onto the floor as he's trying to escape ffs. This video is just a shitload of fail. They're lucky the dog was looking elsewhere otherwise he could've been onto the kid in a flash.

I reckon its easy to see that video and think the dog seems playful because the video itself is rather comical. But I think its inconclusive and the only facts are its rather ferociously going after people and wrapping its teeth around any legs it can. I would lean away from playful given it was really scrambling to bite that guy in white tshirt but it doesn't seem to be in fight mode either.
