No, it isn't hard to believe. I just find it perplexing that you would allow someone to treat you like this. Telling you he hacked your computer? Mocking your grandfather for losing his leg? Generally acting like some high school reject? I'm not saying you have to give the guy a beatdown (though he is almost certainly deserving of it), but man up. Don't let him just walk all over you like that or it isn't going to get any better.

Well, that's why I made this thread, to find out what my options are. The cops, I'm reluctant to go to. He's friends with the majority of them from what he tells me, since his mother keeps calling them on him for random shit. I think sending an email to the FBI to have them check this out and leaving it to them would be the better option. What do you guys think?

I say go to the cops, and if they really don't take it seriously then try to get a court to issue a restraining order.

Not really a friend. We both hold deep contempt for each other, even before this incident, but we maintained vague speaking terms.

Why would you let someone that has contempt for you (and vice versa) use your computer? There's a grand total of two people that use my computer. Me and my girlfriend. And I made a second user account for her.

The fact that you know (assuming he's not lying) that he's hacked people before and that the both of you don't get along, seems like enough of a reason to:

A) Not let him on your computer in the first place, especially when you have private information on it.

and

B) Let him in your friggin' house in the first place.


Just because this asshole is friends with your other friend, doesn't mean you should hang out with them if that guy is around. Man up and disassociate yourself from people you don't like, regardless of who the guy's friends are.
