So I was watching that new Scooby-Doo show

I like how there is a logical reason to dress up as a monster this time. and I like how the villians actually try to hurt the gang. the episode where Shaggy, Scooby, and the Phantom was going through the Scooby Doo Doors was great because the Phantom was like "fuck this" and set the goddamned van on fire. he FUCKING TRIED TO BURN THEM ALIVE!

I think I may have to start DVRing this show.

I'm also super pumped for Sym-Bionic Titan. It's good to see CN comeback like this.
 
I've only seen the first episode of mystery inc but that one episode was better than every other scooby doo series combined, except maybe a pup named scooby.
The thing that makes mystery inc good is that it actually has STORY ARCS and CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT rather than just monster of the half-hour.

Also, making Velma hot(ter than Daphne) has been a recurring theme for a while now.

I'm just reiterating the popular opinion here, but this show is good stuff. I mean, how could anyone not like a show with Sheriff Brock Samson and a character named Mr. E?

Plus, haters gonna hate monster from the first episode is pretty cool beans:

This. Haven't seen the show yet, but I've been a fan of scooby doo since I was a little kid. Will watch when I get the chance.
 
The new Scooby-Doo is like the new Star Trek.

Everything is in OVERDRIVE!

This makes it better. The old formula is boring now.

No, that show was fantastic.

But it was canceled.
 
Decided to watch a bit for the hell of it. Heh, it's a fun show, has surprisingly slick animation pared with good direction+writing.

A joke about teacher's pay though? That's a bit harsh isn't it? :P They're not that badly paid...
 
I love this new take. I used watch scooby doo when i was a little kid until i started watching anime. After realizing how everything in scooby doo was recycled and how the writing and jokes were forced, I came to hate it during me teen years. But this new version does everything right.

I generally hate all the old series (minus a pup named scooby) for these same reasons

So this show is awesome.

I'm watching it for the first time today cause I woke up too early. X-men, Arkham Asylum, Aliens, and Terminator reference all in one show.
