So... Johnny Test has been finally cancelled

I have no clue how this poorly-animated Dexter's Lab rip-off managed to get 7 seasons. Did it even have merchandise?
And now, a moment of silence for all the great shows Cartoon Network cancelled while allowing Johnny Test to live.
*...................*

I feel like this show has been on forever. Yep, since 2005. That's insane. I never really paid attention to it, I've seen maybe five or ten minutes in passing over the years. Not the type of thing I imagine I'd be into even as a kid.

Rest in peace, wonderful showcase of creativity that was crushed before reaching its ultimate potential.

This is the Sym-bionic Titan thread, right?

This show was pure trash, I have to chip in with the other people who said they have no idea how it ran for so long.

Idk if the animation just looked worse as I got older but I swore this show looked better in its first like 2 seasons. Either way so glad it's gone.

That's one of those shows that seemed to keep going and going, and it had enough viewers to keep alive but I had no clue who watched it.

Kinda like Big Bang Theory.

Err, this ran for 7 seasons? Why?

Also symbionic titan was also not good. Great pilot, but the rest was ehhhh IMO
Devolved into typical western action cartoon.

This show was pretty much garbage after the first season. After that point, it seemed to be designed to keep kids in front of the TV to sell toys during the commercial breaks rather than actually trying to be entertaining. It was like they took a youtube poop and stretched it for 20+ minutes.

Apparently, Season 2 onwards was made in Adobe Flash. Maybe that's how the show kept going, it was cheap as hell to produce.

It being over won't erase the memories I still have of the show, sadly.

I didn't even know they were still making new episodes, I figured they were re runs (I don't pay close attention to it).

I didn't hate it or love it. I thought it was alright (if nothing else was on it wasn't bad to watch but it wasn't something I went out of my way to watch. Hell, it was pretty good for being on my list of, "Can watch if nothing else is on." As in I actually could enjoy it vs. well at least it's white noise that doesn't irritate me which is most shows I put in that catagory - usually when I want something in the background playing).

That explains the drop in quality then. My little cousin use to love this show but he didn't like Adventure time or Regular Show because as he puts it "The talk to me" so glad this Brain cancer is dead.

That took WAAY too long. I thought it had gotten cancelled when the WB changed to the CW. Then I was surprised to see that it was still going when I saw on Cartoon Network a couple of years ago.
