So my sister (not a happy thread)

Disclaimer: I won't go to the authorities because I live in Mexico where mor often than not they are the ones who are not to be trusted. And the conditions of this specific situation are a little different from "normal" kidnappings.

Disclaimer 2: I didn't make this thread to ask for money, I am the older brother and grandson and I am just getting exhausted of being the strong one, I need to cry and scream and I just don't want to do it in front of my already devastaed family.

She was kidnapped this past satursday's night and we are just so fucking destroyed, haven't sleep a single bit, I don't know what to do anymore, just waiting for the call and whishing my sister is OK, can't help but think a lot of things because she is a woman and was taken alone.

We barely got the money they asked and now the worst part is just be sitting here waiting and waiting, all of our good friends helped as much as they could, and I love them for that. I am not worried for posting this thread here, because my nickname is unknown to practically everyone, and much less known is the fact I post on neogaf even if is only in the photo and WP thread, and as I said the conditions of this situation are a little different. I just wanted to share how I feel because being strong is hard, and I don't know what to do anymore.

Hope everything works out in the end. How old is she? Why is this a different situation?

Wow...that is just....incredible. Like all the others, just hoping for her safe return. I know you're not asking for money, but, on the off chance its needed, I'm pretty sure you'll find a lot of support here.


just heard a stat on a show the other day about how many kidnappings there are in Mexico...that its so seen as a revenue source, anyone moderately comfortable financially is at risk.
 
And here my biggest problem right now is trying to decide between two places to eat for lunch today.

Man that's terrible. I know its hard to be the strong one all the time but be as strong as you can. Its okay if you want to vent or express your feelings. That doesn't make you less strong. What you and your family are going through is the worst anyone can imagine so please keep up hope for your beautiful sister.
 
Thanks for your words, I always felt GAF as kind of a family and right now those well wishes are the words I need to hear, time is passing so slow I can feel my guts moving

In Mexico which is why I won't gamble mi sister's life going to the police, it sucks but is the reality, we'll just pay and whish she is,in one piece

I feel sick just thinking about what your family is going through. Your so strong. You might not even know it but you are. Stay close with your family.
 
You're being incredibly strong. I know you're not asking for anything but if you need anything at all, I'll do all I can. I can't even imagine. :( I'm hoping for the best.
 
And here I was yesterday getting upset with my sister for posting pictures of food on facebook.

Mexico needs a big overhaul. I can't imagine to live in a country where you can't trust the authorities. Horrible.

Dude screw it, start a campaign to raise money. I'll pitch a few bucks at least. Post on a couple different websites starting with gaf. Although you probably don't wanna raise too much attention cause then the kidnappers might take advantage.

Yeah thanks, really you are awesome but I don't want to do that, even if I thought really hard about doing it yesterday here (is hard to sell stuff and raise money on a sunday and GAF was the only place I didn't try) but we manage to get it, so I appreciate the gesture but I couldn't have your money

thanks, i am in the bathroom, crying like a little baby, is a good thing I always take my time to shit, I needed this, I don't even have strenght to curse those bastards, just thinking on my sister who I love so much
 
Goddamn man what the hell. May i advise you when you get your sister back to get the fuck out of there as soon as possible? Maybe make a fundraiser on GAF to help chip in to get you out of there.

I know its not as simple as that, but goddamn ..
