Reading this thread gave me pricks of fear down my spine. This is one of the worst nightmares for me, family means the world to me and I can't imagine being anything but sick with worry all day if this were to happen to my sister. Or any of them, really. Two years ago my Uncle was also kidnapped. Pretty soon I think the majority of Mexico's citizens will have had at least one family member kidnapped unfortunately.

Definitely get therapy for all your family members if possible. If you can't find an affordable therapist, then please know you can count on me and as you've seen, other posters for donations. Fuerza amigo!

Before I said this was a different situation because we "caused" this by doing the right thing, the people that kidnapped my sister were people we knew and even had eating at our table and sharing a beer, one of them started to be a criminal a while ago, we tried to talk to him as well as other neighborgs because he used to live here and those were times when people in our town cared about each other unlike the times we live now, anyway he moved out and returned after a certain time only this time he was a cop and we all knew what kind of cop he was and he started to abuse his status until we and other families reported him and in movie fashion he swore vengeance and came out of jail almost instantly but moved out of the state because no one here were taking his shit anymore, not even the local criminals, that was like a year ago, and now he returned, and when asking for a ransom he said who he was and that either it was my sister's life or everything we got. Of course now the other neighborgs are worried, but we will still intend to seek protection any way we could for us and our neighborgs and so are they.

He and my sister had a talk about what was happenning, she swore he and his friends didn't touch a hair of her, they only tied her with rope like the guy in ratatouille (her words) the entire time, and supossedly one of the cartels are looking for them and the money is so they can get out of the country, I don't want to root for other assholes that may even be worse than him but damn.

Well now that she is safe and I can think more clearly about what is coming in the near future I shouldn't have closed that door lol, but as I said if someone whish to help me it will all be to the therapy of my sister, and I would provide receives from the doctor just to let you know that help will be used well.

Yeah from what my sister told us he is shitting himself of fear and when they told her they were looking for him, and he meant her no harm because he knew her and us from time ago, yeah dude, I am glad my sister is unharmed but I won't feel simpathy for you now or never.
