So... Pitioss Dungeon in FF15

I just spent close to 5 hours completing this. It would've been way more fun if Noctis didn't control like an asshole. This game wasn't made for precise jumping and platforming. I'd be standing on this narrow path and would flick the stick the absolute minimum just to turn Noctis to the direction I wanted him and he's turn and fall to the abyss. Needlessly frustrating.

So this dungeon has no reward besides what you find in chests and on the floor? Not even a fucking trophy!
Well, if some of the speculation on the interwebz is correct, the dungeon could actually be a bit of a lore-dump and implies heavily what happened with Ifrit & the other Astrals in the past. So if you're one of those fans of vague environmental storytelling where you need to piece together pieces of the story puzzle yourself, Pitios delivers some of that.

Strangely that makes sense.

Does the game auto saves during the run? I wasn't sure so I played til 3am not waning to risk leaving and having to start from the beginning. Since he game doesn't let you manual save inside and there's no indication that it is or it isn't auto saving I just would like to know b

I thought the idea was cool, but platforming in games that control like this is just a terrible idea. The rewards also seemed pretty bad given the challenge.

Is there somewhere I could read about the possible lore?

Just finished the dungeon and it has really impressed me.
It's really hard, mostly for the bad controls of the game, but apart of that the level design is one of the best I have never seen, everything is at his place for a reason.

I read about this dungeon at kotaku http://kotaku.com/a-wild-theory-about-final-fantasy-xvs-secret-dungeon-1792490713 but the lore is from a reddit user.

The true is that I didn't link the lore that the user says during the dungeon but it can be true.
