Hot damn this would be good tooI'm choosed Tlou part 3 but would love a dark fantasy setting like Berserk.
Naughty dog is perfect fit for that setting.

Co- TLOU 2 director is also lead director on something else too. Wonder if its the same game as Neil's or something else.As the whole Naughty Dog studio is likely all hands on deck for The Huge Massive TLOU Online Game, the main man mayhem maestro Neil Cuckmann in-chief has already announced he is currently busy making what could possibly be his final magnum opus.
I've been reading stuff online and it seems most people really like to entertain the thought it should just be Part 3, and have this franchise take over the studio for decades to come... Really?
I think they should bang out a PS5 Part2HD/Part1 bundle asap and leave Part3 till the end of Gen10. Release Factions 2 (or whatever it's called), have a team live service maintaining and expanding on that for years, and move everyone else over to making something totally brand new, while sticking to what they currently do best - action adventure with dark, mature story and brutal, grounded combat and stealth. How about medieval dark fantasy or Sci-fi.
Please no more Uncharted and no PEGI12 platformers, let indies take that stuff over for the betterment of mankind.
So, NeoGaf, what do YOU want their next big single player game to be?
That or he could be making something much smaller and less taxing while he has to run the studio. Part 3 might as well get taken over by a new breed of co-directorsWondering it "THAT future game!" is an IP that we did not expect Naughty Dog to do and fans have been clamoring for... or just "his final magnum opus" as you put it.
TLOU 3 is likely the end of the trilogy. Aint no wayyy Neil hands off his baby to some new folk. That or he could be making something much smaller and less taxing while he has to run the studio. Part 3 might as well get taken over by a new breed of co-directors
Counts the asterisks.Co- TLOU 2 director is also lead director on something else too. Wonder if its the same game as Neil's or something else.
I can make a bet he'll be back to more of a writing role in the third with a bunch of co-directors doing the rest. He runs the place now and oversees the production of every project anyway.TLOU 3 is likely the end of the trilogy. Aint no wayyy Neil hands off his baby to some new folk.
A GAAS multiplayer PvP survival game based on one of their old IPs.

theres not even close to enough of them tbh3rd person games with heavy narratives are played out.
Different strokes for different folks. The genre was leaned into heavily during the PS3/360 era by nearly everyone and Sony was like "well shit if people love them so much then all our games will be that" and to be honest, I have zero desire to play those types of games at this point.theres not even close to enough of them tbh
This game trilogy seems like it HAS to end with Ellie sacrificing herself for a vaccine. Otherwise, her arc doesn’t make sense. She has to fulfill her self-imposed destiny and make her life mean something. And for this IP, I think that’s as hopeful as it can get. It probably ends just as Ellie makes that choice too; we don’t see the results.I don’t think the door is closed on the last of us. I wouldn’t mind going back to that world but like in 7 years with a much older Ellie. They could end the trilogy with some light coming in, a vaccine, some closure for Ellie - and dare I say happiness?
