The old thread was mostly about whether people like Isabelle or not, but very little response on her career. So now let's straighten things out - what should Nintendo do with her? Clearly a huge amount of people like her (no, even if you don't like her, it doesn't invalidate the fact that plenty of people do). Pretty sure cameos won't be enough.

People will eventually ask for her having more screen time. So what should Nintendo do? More (playable) cameos, or give her a game starring her?

Animal Crossing is a pretty "young" franchise for Nintendo standards, but it is getting at the time for some spin offs and related games and considering that she will be a MK8 character, it is pretty safe to expect a game with her.

They could make her a bit sexier, and then fridge her for a cheap emotional response in an attempt to make the next AC a bit edgier. Also, they should turn AC into a third person shooter. They could give her a daughter as well, and fridge both of them, but only if they're really progressive.

Seriously, though, she's pretty popular and should get her own game.

I think she is the perfect Front Desk character, so there really is no reason to give her a main character role, if she was playable in any game it should be as a secondary character, so she can have adorable one-liners and add you in your adventure, kinda like that Monster Hunter role they just gave her.

Now that I think about it, she should be the new Navi in the next Zelda.
