• Hey Guest. Check out your NeoGAF Wrapped 2025 results here!

So what's your weekend gaming schedule looking like?

I'm having a garage sale this weekend so I'll only be playing 3DS games during the daytime, if anything.
I recently finished Pokemon Rumble Blast (story mode) so I might take Cave Story 3D next.

On consoles, I just finished up Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions (which I LOVED!) and picked up SSX & Soul Calibur V on Wednesday (for $9.99 each! woo!) so I'll probably put in some more time with one or both of them.
I might try to finish up Clive Barker's: Jericho too, but I'm stuck on a frustratingly annoying part so I'm in no rush to go back to it.

gonna transfer some pokemon from heartgold to black so i can start a new playthrough, and hopefully i'll finally start skyward sword.

What I'd like to do:

- Tribes Ascent (TDM, CTF)
- Catherine (Babel co-op)
- Kid Icarus Uprising (LvD)
so true!

What I like to do:
- MGS4 - going through the campaign for the first time; the gameplay is really good, but story and cutscenes are meh
- Scratches, GoG - just started it, like it so far
- The Last Story - I think I have beaten the final boss, need to go through the remaining chapters and it will be finished
- Undying: do a second play through, it's so amazing

What I'll likely do:

- GAF

Finally got some good free time and I have a large backlog of recent games I plan to complete.

Here's the list:

Spec Ops: The Line (haven't started)
MGS3 HD (almost finished, a few bosses left)
SKyrim (going for platinum)
Uncharted 3 (going for platinum)
Amazing Spiderman (played a couple hours so far)
Gravity Rush (nearly done)
Lollipop Chainsaw (probably do a 2nd playthrough)
VF5 FS (just play around with some friends)
Dragon's Dogma (going for platinum)
Dark Souls (recent pick up, SL 33 so far)
Max Payne 3 (multiplayer)
Kid Icarus: Uprising (on chapter 11)
OOT 3D (just started Dodongo's Cavern)
Super Mario 3D (a few special worlds left)
Tales of the Abyss (about 7 hours in)

All this and a few other games I plan to pick up and that's my schedule. Although it's more a summer schedule I guess.

I didn't know days have over 24 hours in them.

I don't normally do "gaming schedules". I just play whatever I'm in the mood to play at that time. Which means I'll probably spend more time reading about games here than playing them, and when I finally decide to play something, it'll probably be something I've played hundreds of times before (I'm in a Castlevania III/Chronicles/Rebirth mood right now) instead of chipping away at the backlog.

Hopefully some Arma 2 variants with tha GAF boyeeez.

The wife and her friends are going to see Magic Mike, so i should have a good chunk of Saturday night for some GAMETIME!

Embarrassing to admit this, but I am finally getting around to Metroid Prime. It has never clicked with me in the past for some reason, but last week, I finally got it. And now I've become obsessed with it. Just got to the Phazon Mines and am adjusting to the difficulty spike.

i want to go back and give the Prime series another chance, I love the environments from my previous attempts butt he combat and scanning bored me....the fact Halo 4 looks to have a good touch of the MP environmental style is the main driving force though

Two threads? Ah well here's my re-post:

Walking Dead: Episode 2 (360) - Made this my Friday night game with a glass of whisky and what a great choice I must say! Great start, straight in the action from episode 1 with some fantastic set pieces and choices throughout. I really think this is Telltales best game series yet! Although the frame rate issues on the 360 version let the game down slightly.

Kingdom Rush (iPad) - Wow how have I not heard about this game before? It got mentioned on the iOS gaming thread and I haven't been able to put it down. It's basically Tower Defence done right. Perfect challenge with no IAP nonsense, a great portable game all round.

SSX (360) - Hmm a strange one, LTTP on this game but finally got around to starting it. If you look past the wub wub and 'edgy' attitude it is still a great SSX experience. Minor issues really let it down though, for one the bottomless pits are a complete hassle and combined with the broken rewind you end up restarting...a lot. I'm not sure whether EA lacked direction but the game seems to be trying to aiming at all audiences and not really successfully pleasing either of them.

Finally anyone who wants some extra XBOX Live GAF buddies add me: ICYICYMCSHAKE

Friday: Working...I'm still at work actually...I don't get off until tomorrow morning.

Saturday: Probably taking my son to see Brave. I'll play The Amazing Spider-Man and maybe play the Gravity Rush Spy Pack DLC. May play The Walking Dead Episode 2 with the wife once we put our son to sleep.

Sunday: Wide open. I'm sure ASM and maybe another game on my backlog will get played. I've had Asura's Wrath from Gamefly for a while now so I might play that since it's something I can play with my son in the room. :P

Pretty much just Mass Effect 3 for me. Now that the EC dlc is out, I've started my Insanity run like I was planning. I finished Saints Row 2 yesterday, so I can focus on just this. Loving it so far, just like the first time through months ago.

Probably going to play some more TERA (I'm Misu in the GAF guild on Dragonfall) and hopefully more Amnesia. I'm a bit swamped with work right now so I have to kinda force myself to play games. I might just end up watching Netflix during my breaks, though. xD So many games to play...

Work, all my gaming is generally done on my days off (during the week). However, what little time to game I do get will be spent with: Tribes:Ascend (PC), Samurai Warriors: Chronicles (3DS), and been playing a little bit of Warriors Orochi 2 on PSP in preparation for playing Warriors Orochi 3 on Xbox 360 that's just sitting on my shelf.

Probably Max Payne 3, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade, Rayman Origins, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, The Darkness II and perhaps even some NBA2K12, all on the PC.

However, I plan to do another type of gaming tomorrow morning. I'm going to the casino.

Spec Ops and Lego Batman 2 on PS3 this weekend, and then Monday begins a full week of Vita-only. (vacation that includes a few plane rides) I've been purposely avoiding my Vita in preparation, so I'm pretty excited to dig into Gravity Rush, Wipeout 2048 (the HD/Fury DLC), and the LBP beta!

Saturday: up 05:30, 07:00 train 2½ hours (short ride, recovery week), final cleanup of the house we've moved out of. In the evening I'll probably take Ys: The Oath in Felghana for a short spin.

Sunday: up 05:30, 07:00 train 2½ hours (short ride, recovery week), work on reducing chaos in new home. In the evening I'll probably take Ys: The Oath in Felghana for a short spin.

Thankfully the Vita is at hand, all my other gear is still in boxes :-D

I really wanna polish off HL2: Episode One before I begin Two, they're both at the top of my backlog list, gonna fire it up later tonight.

Gonna try and squeeze in some Max Payne 3. Will have to spend most of my time working on projects for my summer classes, though. :(

Playing more of my second run of Tales of Graces f to clean up the remaining trophies and get all of the items I missed in my first run. Probably will play some more of my Hugo run in Ys Origin sometime during the weekend as well.

Contemplating whether to play FFXIII or Nier next after it.

Gonna play through The Walking Dead 2, Spec Ops and start into Spider-Man.

Oh yeah, and finish my OCD LEGO Batman 2-ism.

Doing a nostalgia thing with Suikoden I, I think. The usual Dark Souls pvp and GT5. Maybe do another case of Street crimes in LA. Noire.

Thinking of going to gamestop and browsing their PS2/Gamecube wall. I missed out on a lot of games from then.

I just completed Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and I will be starting my gazillionth playthrough of Ocarina of Time, while squeezing in some Half-Life 2 every now and then. I can't believe I never actually finished the latter... Shame on me!

Deadly Premonition Card Collecting.

I bought this game at launch but I couldn't get into it.

So, I started watching Twin Peaks on Netflix.

Once I'm done with the series I'll give the game another go.

btw, Twin Peaks is a super good show. The first episode or two are a drag, but after that I was hooked. Agent Cooper is such a great character.
