You know how QT was like the biggest video/movie nut; worked at a videorental place; talked about movies; lived them... and now he's got hell of a lot of clout in the movie industry and some of the best movies were directed by him (Acting aside).. he's brilliant.
GAF is kind of like that; we have folks here who work @ EB, BB.. the lot and all are avid gamer (as evident by fact that they post on GAF as opposed to IGNboards). :|
so are there any SUPER famous developer who started out as gamer/fanboy and became a worshipped game designer? Can't think of any. How the hell do you get into becoming a game designer anyhow; testing? Or is that not possibe in this industry
