EviLore said:Wasn't trying to say otherwise re: controller prices, just thought he was referring to the upcoming DS3 with the $60 comment (is it $60? haven't been paying attention); in retrospect, maybe the wiimote+nunchuk, as edited into my post later.
AlternativeUlster said:I don't understand why anyone would really want a Ps3 over a 360 truthfully.
AlternativeUlster said:Also the games are fucking expensive too. 60 dollars is too rich for my blood. Maybe sometime this winter though.
bluheim said:Me :
- Too expensive considering there is no WiFi and no HD-drive.
- Too few exclusives (most of the best 360 games also run on Windows)
- Loudness
- Reliabilty
Alfarif said:To tell you how cheap I am, I wait 6 to 8 months after the release of a game to pick up the used game off Amazon.com or some similar place where it's marked down 20$ or more... I still only own a few Wii games because of this. Metroid Prime 3 June 2008 for me baby!
Wii said:Most 360 releases are going to PC.
I'll pick up a 360 next year when they're cheaper, more reliable and all the games I want have come out and are dirt cheap.
I agree. Its still too noisy and I don't play games online. The library is great right now, but I don't like FPS or FPS online so no rush. The unreliability is still a major factor with me. RROD and mailing stuff back is a waste of my time/money.SpoonyBard said:Expensive, unreliable, and poor game library.
Doc Evils said:pretty much.
I don't recall any first/second party Sony title going to the PC. Even many third party don't get ported.Lobster said:So the only choice would be to get a wii?
biocat said:I would have to disconnect my Famicom Twin in order to make room for a 360.
I don't want to do that.
Chrono said:The games I'm interested in are either available on PC or PS3.
And the hardware sucks.
max-pain said:- The hardware is not reliable and loud
- Live Gold is not free
- No HDTV
- Lots of 360 games are on PC
- Small HDD (the Elite is expensive)
Fixed for a self-answer.MakMan said:So, who here with 360 hasn't got a RRoD (yet)? And why?
manzo said:I have a SDTV dedicated to anything 240p, also including my red Famicom Twin.
You -don't- hook your 360 to COMPOSITE. ;P
Yep.reminder said:I'm waiting for games i'm interested in and a more reliable hardware.

So it's more like Wii+PS3.
His point exactly.Lobster said:Oh, if its 1st/2nd party then yes but majority of 3rd party Ps3 games are on 360 too..
