So who's getting a Vita during the launch window?

Wipeout (and soon Gravity) on glorious OLED? You bet I'm getting Vita. Also, the amazon.de bundle with the free 8GB stick is nice.
 
I'll be there dayone.

Wi-fi unit, Uncharted, Wipeout, Fifa, 16gb memory card (or 32 import) a couple (useless) accessories and something not yet planned that I know I'll be buying anyway.

And I hate handhelds. Never use them outside, hardly use them at home.
 
rumours of a price cut are not good, seeing how it plays out and wanting to get PSone compatibility as well.

waiting for birthday I guess.
 
Of course. Why ask? I won't talk about price cuts prematurely as this system does not feel like rip off like 3DS felt at launch. This system deserves to succeed.

I'm cheap like you, believe that. Didn't stop me from snagging Amular for about 47USD. I won't tell you nor criticize you for how or when you spend your money as long as you don't do it to others :P I know we haven't gone there but some think that way. They don't have to post it but it;s there.

lol im buying this on Day1 and lots would consider that a waste...I can care less how people spend their cash. Im sure ill pay full psn price for a game here and there but for the most part theres too many deals out there to pay full....i got all my 3ds games sub 30 i believe with BOGOs and free gift cards etc
 
I am intrigued by Wipeout and FIFA but it's simply not worth $249 to me. Gonna wait out a price drop or two and allow the library to expand.

we have to see about that, sales number are the main key, if does not exceed expectations for the first 3 months, your damn sure sony will cut the price or add a incentive program for the vita.
 
PS3 was my first and only Sony game machine purchase. Bought maybe 3-4 games... only completed 1. I've purchased all Nintendo consoles save for the original GB and virtualboy... never regretted a single one.

The Playstation brand is not for me. I dont like their brand of games. I only have time for Nintendo and Nintendo first party games. Actually, I dont have time for it, but it's worth the sacrifice.

I will not be buying a Vita at launch.
 
I couldn't help but grab the Vita like day -30! My first console ever bought at (or before) launch and I've been loving every second of it.

on top of that stuff I grabbed a couple PSP games I missed off PSN yesterday when the US store went up.

Now I'm just waiting on Gravity Rush, Warriors Lair (should have stayed Ruin) and Final Fantasy X HD. I'm sure there will be other announcements at E3, TGS and so on, but those three games alone plus the launch games will keep me covered throughout 2012.

I am still thinking of Blazblue
 
After a revision, a price drop and if it accrues a large amass of software I'll be interested. The PSP is one of my favorite platforms but it wasn't because it was strong (at the time) or portable. It was because after Monster Hunter opened the flood gates it developed a really gargantuan set of unique and interesting software.

Doesn't help that it's coming in a year filled with lots of frivolous purchases I want to make, as well. New GPU, iPad 3, too much software, maybe the new Nintendo console, etc.
 
I'd love to, but I've had two major vacations this year, and money's going to be tight until at least April or May... After that, I'll probably pick one up.
 
Already paid for the 3G version. *dances*

And I'm not really even a handheld guy.

I'm honestly excited now. I realise this isn't the cover-all Vita thread but I just want to say: I am excited.

And on realising I've got a load of PSN PSP stuff that I've never played I'm even more excited.

Overall slider's excitement level is... 5/10. I don't excited easily I guess.
