Mad Max..2011. Explosion in status will result.

I'm not happy with Mad Max being recast, but Tom Hardy is a fine choice (second to Bana). And he'll be manic enough to pull it off.

Shit will be looking forward to that then, did realise that one.

the guy is a ridiculously good actor and deserves the international recognition. Just hope that a film like that will then make him a Sam Worthington clone
just thought i would keep the SW hate going, even though i think he is ok

I still have hope!

I dunno. Ritchie will be busy with the Holmes franchise for a while. Butlers got 15 more rom-coms to make. Hardy is about to break out. Strong is locked up for the next few years.

Toby Kebbel could carry the shit by himself. Why hasn't he become a breakout star, man.

He looks like a tall skinny version of Stanley tucci.

stanley tucci is
amazing
. These guys aren't even in the same league.

I think Ritchie is meh at the moment. Rock N Rolla was fun but by then I'd already seen In Bruges and Layer Cake so I was just thinking Ritchie's been beaten big time in his own game.

Lock Stock and Snatch are great though.

I was wondering this myself.

Dude is awesome, should be headlining major flicks.

Let him be in a movie across from Smith, Denzel or Damon.

I love the guy.

He is in Green Zone with Damon. He apparently has a great mustache in it.

Mark Strong has been great in all of those movies, but honestly he needs to be a bit more choosey. Basically plays the same role every time and in far too many movies. He may beat Seth Rogen for having more jobs per year.

Holy shit I didn't know some of those roles were the same actor :lol

He was good in what I've seen him in, and I'll check out those british movies if they are really that good.

Oh and about Rocknrolla. I had the more than one chance to see it but never have, is it really that good Solo?

He's definitely one of my favourite current actors and i'd love to see him in some leading roles.

I'll have to check out The Long Firm now. Thanks for the recommendation richisawesome.

Best part of the film (rest was pretty garbage).

I intentionally left out Revolver, Ben :lol :lol

Its fantastic. Its no Snatch, but its got a vibe and a tone all its own, and its a ton of fun. Best dance scene ever.

Praising his work in RockNRolla? :lol That was a truly god awful film with fake cockney accents aplenty and he wasn't much better in Sherlock Holmes.

I think he's alright as an actor but not sure how much bigger he deserves to be.

Although he was pretty good in Our Friends in the North

Rocknrolla is absolute gash, don't waste your time.

To me, he looks a little like James Wood, Professor of the Practice of Literary Criticism at Harvard.

That's paying Wood a terrific compliment, though.

I've only seen him in Sherlock Holmes, but I thought he was very good in it. Every time I see him, though, I think he's Stanley Tucci.

Edit: Long beaten! :lol

Thanks for making this thread.

I just realized I'm a huge fan of his this weekend. He's a modern day Lance Henriksen, or that level character actor for me. Just a guy with a good look that doesn't take many lead roles; and works the hell out of whatever part he's cast in.

So awesome in Stardust. I need to buy that movie. . .

I never saw Snatch either, so I guess I'll see the both of them.

He's a great actor. But considering all the big name films he's starred, if I were an actor I'd be pretty content and more to get the roles he has gotten.
