Some Rubio advisers say get out before Florida

Now that the election is all about voting for Trump or voting to stop Trump, I wouldn't be surprised if Kasich takes Ohio, and Cruz or Rubio takes Florida.

hate to go against the grain but i don't see rubio losing FL with a $25 mil ad buy. notice trump's plummet in the 538 projection

it's a gamble but it's probably beneficial for him to stay in and win his home state. better to go out on a win, assuming he has aspirations past 2016

He's down like 10 points, I don't believe he can come back in a week. I'd imagine Trump has a sizable early voter lead too.

Interestingly, according to a recent poll, Rubio's killing it in early voting, 48% to 23% against Trump. Who knows how it's gonna shake out at the end. My mom already voted and hates Trump - I'm sure she'd be irked if her preferred candidate dropped out after she voted for him but before the day of the primary.

so those who want him to drop out early is just to have his measly 4% in Ohio jump to Kasich to stop Trump up there?

Rubio's career is pretty finito regardless

I want Rubio to stay in. I want him to witness the beating he'll get in his home state and absolutely be demoralized and ruin any chance of a political career ever again.

This. I don't want any of the candidates to think they have a shot to the White House with the current views they have.

This is the reason I'm not bothered by a Drumpf nomination, he'd destroy the chances of a GOP presidency for a long time, forcing them to reform.

If Rubio drops out, it'll be interesting to see where his support goes. Kasich might see a boost, but I fear with less candidates the winner will inevitably be Cruz.

I'd campaign for Trump if it was Cruz/Trump for the presidency. Nasty man who would set the country back decades.

This is silly.

Rubio (and Cruz and Kasich) are holding on for dear life till the convention to try to block Trump from sweeping.

The sample is only 75 voters. It's not worth much honestly.

I'M SUPER nervous about florida and I'm praying every day for Donald to win. I pray every day, every night, every afternoon, and it's so true.

Too many folks from other states encouraging Rubio to drop out. Who cares about this guy's future anyway? An empty suit neocon, with the worse voting record in the Senate.

He should burn by staying and getting slayed. At the very least it'll show he didn't rat out like a weakling.

In my book, anything that gives my state a higher change of getting rid of him is good. The country will be better for it if he gets destroyed - his seat might be the balance between minority and majority in the Senate. Not to mention, if he keeps his Senate seat I can see him try out running for the Governors seat....hell NO!

He should stay. Stay little Marco, STAY!!!

Looking at probabilities even from a GOP implosion pov, him staying is better. If he somehow miraculously wins Florida, contested convention is almost a lock aka CHAOS aka higher chance of Dem winning the presidency aka higher change of retaking the Senate aka higher change of dealing even worse long-term damage to the GOP brand.

As far as Rubio is concerned, Florida is a mess

Florida is a waste

Florida is a big fat mess

His odd on winning FL is 1:4. He basically has no chance of winning.

Already seeing (very irritating) adds for Rubio dominating the airwaves down here. Mostly superpac'd.

In South Florida by the way.

Exactly. Stay in, so the entire state can laugh you out of your political career, Marcosoft.

Rubio quitting would hurt Trump no? I imagine most of his votes would swing Cruz's way going forward.

Trump and Cruz are the crazy stupid people vote. Weirdly Rubio and Kasich are the "sensible" vote. Time for RNC to admit it burned dinner and start again.

If he were wise he'd drop out and make a handshake agreement with Cruz to be on his potential ticket. But he seems too proud to do that.

If Rubio drops out before March 15 it's a given he'll endorse Cruz and he'd win isn't it? If only Trump hadn't been such a goddamn bully towards him he might've been able to pull some Rubio votes but as it stands now I'm guessing Cruz is praying for a Rubio now and Trump to Robio staying.
