It seems GAF's old one is PERMANENTLY shut down(golin/harris), some thought it was temp in a thread a few days ago but its down for good.

Someone here has to have the goods for another one for GAF. These things are a life saver during E3.

I'm not even press, but the press site is for PRESS, not for everyone else.

Hey! I used it for a website I do news for. It may get 2 vists a day but I used it for uh press reasons.


Plus the main thing is at E3 day of press conference Nintendo gives rough dates of ALL their fall games but most mainstream media game sites dont even mention those for DAYS and if they do it's squeezed in a preview.

Those E3 release date charts are insanely useful.

I got that at GAF though like during e3 2003. Nintendo never responded with an offical request for one whenever I try. I think it has to do with the fact its a fansite with almost no hits and I use a gmail account for it.

golin/harris was never intended to be a public account. it was a private press-only account that got leaked out. and consequently shut down. just cause you found it on GAF doesn't mean you had any right to use it.

It's not really necessary because the fact is that the information on that site is supposed to be made public to the press, so you'll get all the screenshots and info form there in a matter of minutes of it being put up.

this isn't about feeling special, this is about of being unable to do my fucking job during E3 2003 because the Nintendo press site was being swarmed by thousands of "but I'm special TOO" Nintendo fanboys. and the moment you think you have the right to keep me from doing what I'm being paid for is the moment YOU GET PUNCHED IN THE FACE

I'm pretty sure everyone was given golin/harris at some point. Hell, I've had it since like 2000 or something. It's been a long time that I've legitimately had it, and I can no longer get on now.

Contacting Nintendo about it won't get me jack shit as I'm only a small fansite. It mattered to them at one point, but not any longer.
