Someone Made Every NPC In Red Dead Redemption 2 Ridable, Including People
When a horse just doesn't cut it.
There are a few ways to get around inRed Dead Redemption 2. Horses, carriages, trains and boats will all get Arthur where he wants to go. However, each of them have their drawbacks. Horses and carriages are really slow over long distances, while trains will only drop you at predetermined spots. So, what if there were a few more transportation options?
Of course, RDR2 is set in 1899, so there aren't too many alternate means of transport. Perhaps a few steampunk vehicles, but nothing else really. That wasn't going to stop modderBlurbss, who is known for pulling off various shenanigans in the game, includingturning it into Pokemon. They decided to turn every animal and person in the game into a ridable object.
"That's A Good Girl"
Apart from Red Dead Pokemon, Blurbss alsoturned RDR2 into Elden Ring. So, it's evident that there's no limit to how much they like messing around with the game. However, this time they decided to keep things fairly simple, by making every NPC ridable. This means Arthur can ride alligators, bears, moose, and even birds. The post suggests you can even change the size of the eagles to make Arthur look like Gandalf going to save Frodo and Sam.
However, the funniest part about this is that you can ride people; no, not in that way. Arthur sits on a person's shoulders and assumes the carriage driving animation, resulting in a hilarious Ratatouille-esque team-up between the outlaw and any other person in the game. Hell, you can atop Micah and make him run off a cliff, without Arthur taking any damage.
You can also ride on the shoulders of people who are on horses, but it's unclear if you'll be able to control the horse. Though, I suppose if you control the person on the horse, you control the horse too.
