Songs that make you cry

This song has never struck me as a sad one-can you explain?

Well for me personally, I was watching a certain show on TV (can't remember which one, just random TV watching), and in the show someone had died. I didn't have any emotional investment in the show, but when the funeral scene came on the song started to play. I think what got me was that around that time, a close family friend of ours had died as well, and I just couldn't hold back the tears. I remember thinking that I just had to have the song, and now every time I listen to it, I get emotional and on the brink of tears...

There's been some good ones posted in this thread. A Change is Gonna Come by Sam Cooke I would say the best so far, that song is just unreal.

People always thought it weird that my iPod has always had a playlist called "Play These At My Funeral", so here's some of the toughest for me.

Standing Outside A Broken Phone Booth With Money in My Hand - Primitive Radio Gods

When the Night Comes - Dan Auerbach

I Wanna Dance With Somebody - Fleet Foxes

This Is It - Michael Jackson

Don't Let Us Get Sick - Pat Guadagno

Then there's probably pretty familiar ones like Rocket Man by Elton John, Show my the Way by Peter Frampton, The Wrestler by Bruce, Going to California by Zepplin.

Snow Patrol - Run

This part man, this part:

To think I might not see those eyes
Makes it so hard not to cry
And as we say our long goodbye
I nearly do

Sorry I keep bumping with one or two songs; I just like the thread and want more input.
