Some modders are working on making a working version, I think from the ground up mostly. I wouldn't put too much faith in it, but at least there's a chance. Honestly I don't think making the game glitch free is enough to save it, as the core mechanics, level design, just about everything gameplay wise about the game sucks ass...
Absolutely. In fact, I once had my own live radio show about video game music at Eastern Connecticut State University. I dedicated two shows to the entire Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
