I almost bought a 360 out of impulse, I saw Sonic The Hedgehog for 360 at the store earlyer today, and man I was itchin!!!!

I don't really mean to troll but this is seriously the worst 360 game yet. By far. Like lightyears. Did you guys not play the demo? It hasn't improved -- the full version is even worse! I'm not exaggerating in the slightest when I say that every last thing about the game sucks.
(I do like that one level that's a throwback to the orca part in Sonic Adventure though, simply for the reference.)
Oh, and reviewing Sonic Rivals kinda made me want to die. And I used to love Sonic back in the day... Why must you torture me, Sega?

There are 6 packs, 3 are gamer picture packs and the other 3 are 360 themes, each pack has either sonic, tails and knuckles with 2 bonus items like a ring or spring, shadow rouge and omega with 2 more items and the new hedgehog with amy and blaze with 2 more items.Firestorm said:

The level design was solid, though. Multiple paths that run through and around each other. It's better than any of the previous 3D Sonic titles, and I enjoyed them (outside of Shadow). The control and camera problems do not bother me as I have a perfect handle on them.

Does the game at least run at 60 fps? Not that that could make up for the horrible gameplay, I'm just curious since there doesn't seem to be too many 60 fps games on the 360.

It seemed to run at 60 fps but dipped whenever physics were getting nutty, the demo at least.

You know, the original Genesis version is on both Sonic Mega Collection/SMC Plus and Sega Genesis Collection, so I'd call this useless shovelware, IMHO...Rlan said:

How can any respectable Sonic fan be looking forward to this? Sonic has been in a downward spiral since Sonic Adventure 1. And this game is the true bastardization of the series not the Wii game. The Wii game looks at least to be a more authetic transformation of the 2d series into 3d.

The only 3D Sonic game I bothered with was Sonic Adventure 1. After that, the only Sonic game I bought was Mega Collection Plus for the Xbox. So, yeah, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, I suppose...Pimpbaa said:

I enjoy Sonic Adventure because it's fun, there's a duh factor for you. I enjoy the ridiculous rollercoaster gameplay and going for high rankings. The presentation, aesthetics and music in Adventure 1 & 2 really struck a chord with me as well.
Are the plotlines and themes silly? Yes, but they are in any platformer that even tries for something resembling context, I just take it for what it is and enjoy the polish.
I never cared for the 2D Sonics, but I grew up playing Nintendo, not Sega.

I honestly wouldn't give two shits as long as Mario played good...and I like the gameplay of Sonic Adventure.
