Wow already?

I'd figured circa 1m by end of 08....it must have sold quite well indeed in Europe overall.

I think it's safe to say it will be a multi-million seller over its lifetime.

Yeah, saw that. With all the talk about how it didn't sell well, i was surprised they sold that many. Not earth shattering or anything, but decent enough.

If it's like the PS3.5 instead of PS4, I think it would still be good considering the tech for this generation of HD consoles is impressive.

i wonder who all the people buying stuff in home are?

Wollan took out a $1million loan last summer in preparation and now he can't pay it back.

This is why we're now in a recession.

Looks like I may need to dig up some old threads I bookmarked to dish out some future crow on people that said it wouldn't sell over 500k.. :lol

Well..Home's probably not going anywhere then. Hopefully they fix it up to match the investment some people are clearly making in it.

9:54 PST SCEA is now shifting its way it thinks about its hardware design to better serve customers.

Wonder what this means...?

Also, from Engadget, re. EA in Home:

9:53AM PlayStation Home has added Electonic Arts to Home today. Based on the demo, it looks like it includes an EA casino and other places where you can give more of your money to Sony.

Yeah..judging by that figure for Home sales to date, and thus the willingness of some Home folk to part with cash, I could see EA turning a pretty penny on a casino :lol

This casino @ Home looks interesting, hopefully a poker room where we can put some money in there and win some money from other players. Of course Sony/EA gets a share just like other poker websites.

The upside is that you could make enough money from fools that all your PSN purchases are free :D

I am so in shock, I'm in shick!

Sony is really laughing all the way to the bank concerning HOME. That's crazy.

There is some guy on the official PS boards, that bought everything in home in the mall, and spent over 70 bucks.

It sounds like an indirect acknowledgement of shooting too high with PS3 and pricing vs the market, and that they won't be doing that again in a hurry.

But you could read whatever you want into that..I would like to read into it a return to $299 launches in the future for home hardware..

I wouldn't worry just yet. If 3.4 million have downloaded Home as stated, and just a third of those decide to download some 99 cent DLC as a lark, there's your $1 million right there. Now, if these people go back for more, :shudder.

I admit that I spent two bucks on Home.

Also, what's the update for Life With Playstation all about? Is there anything actually interesting coming to it?
