im not spreading lies. i belived that it would use AA batteries and i was wrong.
So it´s the same disaster like last gen then.
Sony never learns.
let´s hope people dont hang themselves with the long rechargeable cables they bought once the console price is revealed because they will still need them for charging.

Dualsense only has the usb type c port. Someone make a poll, if they miss the headphone jack.

I'd actually like to give it a try, because who knows, maybe aside its disgusting looks/proportions, it might have been a very comfortable controller to use. Sadly we will never know.

I wonder if any prototypes exist that could one day make it out to the public?
 
If there is anyone out there who thinks that the light bar on this or the previous controller had ANY impact of the battery life then they are insane. This isn't the 80s where light bulbs burn your fingers, these are LED lights, they require basically no power to run, the controller's battery could run that LED light for years nonstop

This controller is thicker and if there is a jack below the mic, it won't be visible from that angle. The same people who were spreading lies about it using batteries are now doing the same about headphones.

I thought the Japanese patent showed 2 audio jacks? It didn't look like this controller exactly, but that wouldn't be uncommon.

I didnt say anything about batteries. After some people bought up the 3.5 mm jack I looked at the official renders and indeed there is none where it should be. If it is still there, then thats good.
 
This thread has brought it to my attention that people that actually want AA batteries for video game controllers exist. Holy shit. I have nothing to add to the topic at hand, just needed to vent that out.
