I have a phone charger right next to me, hell I sometimes charge the dualshock with my PC or a portable battery. I have 3 controllers and sometimes I forget to charge all of them.

You can plug it to everything Usb and it charges!! And you can play with it while charging!

Rather than buy rechargeable AAs.... on ps4 you can buy one of these:

Finished gaming? Just plug the controller there and that's it.

Quite easy and there are multiple types so you can buy a single one for one controller or a more advanced one like in the image.

Recharging controllers on PS is a non-issue.

No it's not. When the battery goes dead before I'm done gaming, I either have to recharge it or use it wired, hence the photo xool posted that started this thread derail.

How many uninterrupted hours do you play? The most uninterrupted time I played on pS4 was 4 or 5 hours and I never had an issue of the controller dying...

- Built-in microphone, horrible for in-game chat, you will hear a lot of people talking lol
- still the stupid glowing light, will destroy battery life
- oh the horrible D-Pad, looks like the PSP D-Pad.
- horrible buttons, not even colored
- questionable two-color scheme
- gimmick features, that mostly dev will ignore, even on the switch those features are mostly ignored

I have two pads since launch and when using one the other is connected to the console charging. Once the one I'm using runs out of battery I have the other one fully charged to continue playing. So I always have one ready to play.

I can even charge them connecting the pad to a PC or to a smartphone/tablet charger. You can even charge it while playing, so the charging time is basically zero compared to batteries. Internal battery is a superior solution than using batteries, rechargables or not.

It's DS4 internal battery that sucks, there's no reason at all to refuse 40h internal battery life for example. Also, many people can't seem to comprehend that internal batteries can be replacable too, even upgraded.

I have rechargeable 2800mah bayteri6in the 360 controller hooked on my PC,no clue how long they last... But it's very long.
