Well, they were both real time and looking very promissing in a really early state. The end products are going to be awesome. Both being made by excellent developers, one game a new take on a long lost classic, the other a totally new ip.

Not to mention, it's very likely that both will be launch games.

Also looking like Devil May Cry 4 will be a launch title. I don't have the interview in front of me but I believe the lead dev said he was aiming for launch.

Yes, the thread really warranted a buzzkill attempt. OMG, we're wondering what a company might show of their upcoming game platform at a major industry event...and we're doing it on a gaming forum. Who does that?

PS3 will be large and in charge at CES. I seriously doubt it'll be playable on the showfloor, but probably behind the scenes. I expect new trailers and some announcements regarding services and/or launch schedules. Expect a bunch of titles to be announced. I expect PS Festival to be the first hands-on demo. They still need to sell PS2s and PSPs in Q4. The urgency still isn't there. But CES is the first chance they'll get to actually take a crack at the 360's sales momentum. There's nothing they can do before that, but post-holiday season they'll want to put the pressure on. PEACE.

yep. Perfectly timed for the post christmas lull. Hit MS while their sales are naturally slowing (and likely less games being released), and keep the pressure on until launch.
