I don't like to make a habit of predicting the future, but... what in the world gives you that idea? I mean, PC could be a thing... at least it is possible. But XB1?
What about Guilty Gear, FFX/X-2, Tales of Zestiria, and Star Ocean 5? Are you banking on them coming to XB1 as well?
Gravity Rush 2, holiday 2015 PS4, calling it now!
Why is no one apparently reading past the first part of the sentence.
I'm looking through your post and not seeing MGSV

Ahhh, the nebulous "next gen gameplay" joke makes its comeback. Ugh.
Some people can't come to terms with the idea that gameplay is almost always divorced from the hardware.MGSVGZ was the most 'next-gen game' I've played in the past 2 years, and it has absolutely nothing to do with 'next-gen hardware.'
wait wait wait....Are you trying to say bloodborne and infamous ss doesn't have atleast good gameplay?.
No. The poster was asking which games brought something new to the table in terms of gameplay. Other responded Bloodborne, Infamous, etc...
What was new about their gameplay though (as in wasn't/couldn't be done on last gen consoles) ?
Oh my bad but does such a thing even exist? No. The poster was asking which games brought something new to the table in terms of gameplay. Other responded Bloodborne, Infamous, etc...

What's the whole Persona X.L(?) The Movie all about?
Because it's no different then saying you have enough food for a banquet and all you have on the table thus far is bread and potatoes.
Oh my bad but does such a thing even exist?
tbh i didnt even hear about "next gen gameplay" till i came onto gaf.
"I won't go into any detail now," said Gara. "There is plenty for gamers to get excited about already, such as Tearaway for PS4 and No Man's Sky.
States he doesn't want to go into detail, which is followed by going into detail. Weird wording.

I think Sony will not have any significan unannounce title at E3 that ready for holiday, but I'm ok with that, since there are no shortage of titles in the holiday anyways.
My only hope is Persona 5 make it into 2015, that and plenty of mid size game enough to carry my gaming need into 2016.
Thats not what its saying though.
Its not saying "We got bread and potatoes for the banquet, thats enough, we aren't concerned."
Its saying "We got bread and potatoes, but we also have a roast in the oven and some soup that'll be ready for dinner as well."
The soup maybe. That roast will be slow cooking until fucking 2016 though.
i hope they have some surprises, if the second half of this year is as bad for my ps4 as the second half of last year was i'm going to scream
Everybody knows about no man's sky and tear-away already, we've already seen reveals and footage. I'm pretty sure he's talking about games that's not been revealed yet or that people don't expect.States he doesn't want to go into detail, which is followed by going into detail. Weird wording.
He was asking for next gen gameplay which is not a real thing. It's a made-up criticism from people who probably just don't like video games anymore.

Why? Remember Little Big Planet 3?
Seems a bit early to assume Sony's Holiday lineup is lacking before Sony has a chance to show what it's got at E3?
I know, but I can't think of any establish IP that can lunch within 6 month this time.
It can't be new IP since those need more time to build up the hype, what else could be ready but unannounce?
New Everybody golf maybe, but that's annouced at TGS.

Of course Sony has games to announce at E3. But I doubt they will be AAA titles.Seems a bit early to assume Sony's Holiday lineup is lacking before Sony has a chance to show what it's got at E3?

Gravity Rush 2, holiday 2015 PS4, calling it now!
A holiday with Gravity Rush 2, Tearaway Unfolded, Uncharted collection, and Rime would leave me very, very happy.
In my mind, there are 4 rational candidates:
- Uncharted Trilogy
- Gravity Daze 2 (<- least likely imo, Sony probably needs to rehype the IP for PS4)
- Everybody's Golf
- The Last Guardian
Sony Bend can easily have a game ready, their last game came out in 2012
Team Gravity can easily have Gravity Rush 2 ready
Team Ico could have TLG (yeah, I know)
Team Japan could have a collaboration ready
If Mm's new main team game isn't Morpheus based they could easily have it ready, its been 4 years since LBP2
Guerrilla games and Cambridge could both possible have a game ready depending on their development cycles and teams, its been 2 years since both.
An Uncharted Collection could easily happen.
Naming Tearaway PS4 as a game to be excited for is :\
E3 will bring the games I'm sure.
If one of those come true, I'll be very happy. Extra happy if GR2 hit holiday.
Didn't Level 5 said they will be at E3 this year?
What the fuck is his Tearaway bashing in this thread.
The game barely sold on the Vita, meaning the vast majority of people still haven't played it. I wonder how many of these "OMG NOT NEW!!" people didn't even play the original. At least half of the game's content is going to be new, with the trackpad and gyroscope bringing in several new gameplay ideas.
And in this same thread people are clamoring for an Uncharted remaster, one that won't have significant new content like Tearaway will? Seriously what the fuck am I even reading here.
People hoping Sony will have a surprise AAA game announced for fall 2015 are going to be dissapointed. Majority of first party AAA games usually get announced at the least 7 or months before release. LittleBigPlanet 3 was not a huge deal, it wasn't AAA and wasn't even developed by Media Molecule. I expect games like Tearaway Unfolded, Until Dawn to be delayed to fall 2015. Or they will have fall release dates for some digital games like No Man's Sky and The Witness. The biggest hope is probably a Uncharted Collection or Beyond/Heavy Rain remaster. Sony will also just pimp their 3rd party partnerships with Assassins Creed, MGSV, Battlefront and etc.
100% agree with the Tearaway bashing. All the people that bash it, just looking at the numbers, probably didn't play it. Also with the lack of sales on the vita, when someone that isn't on an online forum and sees it out will just believe it's a new game.
I was replying to people who said bloodborne or infamous when someone asked what games felt next gen not only in terms of graphics but also gameplay and others replied Bloodborne or infamous.
Hence my question: "What was new about their gameplay though (as in wasn't/couldn't be done on last gen consoles) ?"
I don't think a new console will suddenly bring new gameplay, I was actually asking why the gameplay of the games some people quoted was considered new;
I don't think I was very clear though
I think people are expecting huge advancements like the SNES to N64 Mario games or the cover shooting in Gears (I know Kill.Switch did it first, but let's be honest, Gears was the first for a majority of people).
It's really up to the developers to create new innovative concepts, and it has nothing to do with hardware.
The reason why I'm so excited for Splatoon is the fact that they're pushing the shooter genre in a different direction. And that's on the Wii U.
