X360 by quarters: 1.3 million, 1 million, 1.2 million, 3.5 million = 7 million
PS3 by quarters: 3.4 million (this still had PS2?), 1.1 million, 2 million, 3.3 - 3.5 million = 9.8 - 10 million
So really no.
Wouldn't that put the PS3 ahead?

If these numbers are accurate, the 360 likely outsold the PS3 last year and is still slightly ahead LTD.
Wouldn't that put the PS3 ahead?
Yes. He was implying that X360 sold more last year when with these numbers it's pretty much impossible.
Did the PS2 slow down as much as the PS3 has when the triple was released?
Seems crazy that the triple has slowed as quickly as it has...
Get your tissues bro...Samsung is kicking there butt, and there's not much they can do about it...Noooooooooooooo! I will cry if Sony sells its TV division.
360 still ahead of PS3, as suspected all this time.

I checked the Vita and Psp numbers for Q3 from the media create Threads
In Japan;
~516 k Vitas
~65 k Psp
~581,5 psp/Vitas
So
About 1 418 500 Psp/ Vitas in the rest of the World

5M. And they'll probably miss it, since they've only sold 3.4M so far for the FY.Nope, these are shipments.
Anyone remembers forecast for PSV+PSP?
Nope, these are shipments.
Anyone remembers forecast for PSV+PSP?
edit: 5M for this FY, they'll miss even that pathetic number and last year was 7M. Portable business is dead for Sony.
I'm sure we'll still get Vaios, just not from Sony.
Are their tablets selling well? How much markets share do they have in that arena?
oh, media create is sell trough right?
Oh god, so the rest of the World numbers are abysmal
So am I reading this right?
Home consoles sold in 2013
Sony: 14.3M (PS4: 4.2M, PS3: 10.1M)
Microsoft: 10.9M (XBO: 3, 360: 7.9M)
Nintendo: 4.32M (Wii U: 2.8M, Wii: 1.5M)
Just goes to show if Sony didn't change track with PS4 and had another PS3 happen they would be totally fucked.
Yep pretty damn awful. Not sure how they fix that other than hoping PS4 owners get an urge to play remotly so buy Vita's on mass.
We need a creamsugar for earnings now? Pathetic, Sony. Man up and show us the numbers.
You are mixing up sell-through and sell-in. PS4 sell-through was 4.2M, sell-in was ?? (though probably not too much higher since it was pretty much sold out everywhere). XBO sell-through was 3M, sell-in was 3.9M. 360 sell-in was 7.0M, PS3 was ?? (> 6.5M and < 10.1M, probably closer to 10.1M due to PS4 shortages).
Ps2 sold 1.4 million in the Dec 2006 NPD, on worldwide scale Sony sold something like 50 more Ps2 after the PS3 release. I dont think there is any chance PS3 goes on to sell 1/3 of the LTD at PS4 release.
They've been doing it since they launched the Vita to mask it's poor performance, this isn't exactly new.
It will only stop when the PS3 or PSP get discontinued.
What if they discontinue PSP and Vita at the same time?

There's a transcript up on Seeking Alpha (although I think they've mistranscribed what should say 5 million into 50M...) but there wasn't really anything there that wasn't already announced - is 150M PSN accounts a new number? No more numbers in the conference call?
