Sony seems to actually handle everything for classics. Article is for the EU and PS1 classics, but I assume it is the same process for the US and for PS2 classics.
what are the chances that someday in the future Sony made device similar to VitaTV but big and powerful enough to emulate ps2 and maybe ps3 as well?
or maybe one last ps3 revision where they bring back ps2 bc.?
I'm asking because Sony must have realized that Gaikai is not viable solution in many country with slower internet speed. they know this enough that they're not going to demand online only console like MS originally tried to do. so I hope they have some kind of offline solution for ps2 and 3 bc as well eventually
the problem i have with the classic store is the price, if they drop the games to 1-2$ i will buy probably 20 of them, but i won't buy 1 for 10$
but then again maybe i just want to live in a world where steam style sales aren't exclusive to steam/humble bundles

I feel $6 is a fair price for ps1 games, $10 is only for the really popular title.
steam sales are not the normal price, you have to wait for those sales. you could wait for some of those ps1 games got free on ps+ although the chance to get games you want is kinda low
I want to know why PaRappa the Rapper is not on the PSN store as a PS1 classic. I don't want to buy the PSP version. I want the original. Perhaps it's true that the game is unplayable on anything other than a CRT TV due to input lag.
