Sorcery is like the game Wii fans have been asking for forever. Some game that lets you pretend you have a wand :lol

Anyway doesn't look interesting to me but clearly it's nice to have a system with power in combination with this tech. Hardcore game possibilities.

Better than the HP third-person shooter from WB :lol

So how does this differ from all of those Wii games with flick control? Because even though you can wave your hand 1:1, the spells are activated with flicks.

Looks like some Wii Harry Potter game :lol

looked really good, both tech-wise with move, and as a game itself!

The way you are positioned is where your aim goes, and how powerful you swing determines strength of attacks. The flick is merely to activate the attack itself, otherwise every time you move your arm at all moves would come out.

Looks really, really cool. I loved how the orb changed colors.

Waaaaaayyyy too much waggle, though. Jesus.

This actually impressed me quite a bit. Reminded me of what Insomniac would do with a fantasy IP.

The tech is nice, and these Move demos have pretty much sold me. I'll buy it at least by February for KZ3.

Looked very interesting. I hope they make some kind of a Zelda adventure type game out of it. With a giant overworld and great dungeons.

It looks fantastic. The move controls it perfectly and you gotta love that when you change spells, the move ball changes to the same colour to match.

Hardcore real game.

1:1 is crucial for positioning and knowing where the flick is going to take your attack

It's like what Okami Wii should have been but with bad art. Has potential but the Harry Potter look is off-putting.

Doesn't look very interesting to me from what they showed, but if they put that control scheme on top of an arpg like Risen I would be very interested. That demo just proved to me it was possible to change the control system of arpgs with move.

For me, this was probably the best part of teh Sony Conference. looked awesome/fun as hell and made me WANT the move controller.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this. Really neat and seemed to work well.

Only bummer is that its not launching with move... C'mon Sony this is the kinda stuff you need at launch to really get that extra push. Heavy Rain patch isn't gonna do it for me :)

i think the game looked pretty good, but it did more to show me what/how it may be implemented... although, like the people asking for Demons Soul move, i would be tired quickly of the attacks

I was rather impressed by this one. Sure, it has a DULL setting stolen from Harry Potter and all, but it seemed to work really well! Combining magic in real time was awesome (and I like how the ball changes colour too :lol )

Got a Trine vibe out of it no idea why. Looks interesting though. Some more games like that and ill start to seriously consider Move.

Impressed. Cant wait to see its applications. This and Child of Eden could get me to try out Move.

Throw in some skill trees, varied spells (not all just attacks), some exploration, and some well written dialogue and you have a game I could be very excited for.

The way this game ran I imagine is the way Nintendo wished the Zelda presentation looked like. The 1-to-1 motion capture of the Move was obvious and impressive in this showing, and a buggy, unresponsive mess in the Zelda show.

The controls looked surprisingly cool, but the rest of the game couldn't have been more generic.

Not interested personally but the controls looked fantastic. If one great thing came from Sony's conference it was that they showed they have the best motion control.

They did show off that Mend spell, which wasn't an attack.

I thought it looked like it could be really good. Gave me some Lost Magic vibes.

Seriously this is the game that makes me want Move now.

Where did this title come from, who is the developer?

Yeah, I think I'll end up picking this game up for Move. It looks fun.

And that reminds me. Trine 2...move support. Make it happen.

So far, this has been the most compelling reason for me to buy Move. I'm not 100% as I've previously said numerous times I'm not interested in motion controls, but Sorcery looked very interesting to me.

I kinda want Move now.

FIrst time on Gaf since 10 minutes before N conference this morning. IGN and Eurogamer were down as well...:lol :lol

BUt I wanted to say this looked great. It looked like what Zelda was trying to do but actually responsive with the motion control. Down to the motion selection wheel and everything.

This + the price of the controllers has pushed me into a purchase. I get the impression that this game was more of an internal tech demo (see Dr. Marks PSEye demo for PS2) that got turned into an entry level game. It does a great deal to showcase the potential of the motion controls and given Sony's dedication to first party development, I expect to see a proper Zelda-like in the near future.
