I've been listening to this soundtrack non-stop recently whilst studying and I need more like it but can't seem to find anything

I mean, there's not much that measures up to it.

As I recall, though... didn't Drakengard 3 have the same composer?

Some older stuff like Baten Kaitos Origin had some kinda similar music. And there's also the Nier Piano Collections, which is sublime.

That's going to be a hard order, NieR's soundtrack is very unique and took around 3 years to do.

HOWEVER, Drakengard 1 & Drakengard 3, from the series that NieR is spun-off from, may fit the bill. Drakengard 1's OST is not really like NieR's, but is a very original and somewhat haunting soundtrack of its own, it's mixed together orchestrated instruments and samples that give off a weird feel. Drakengard 3 was done by a lot of the same people who did the OST for NieR, but it's a different style of music.

A few choice examples from both:

Drakengard 1:
Growing Wings
Seere's Prayer - In the Sky
Sixth Chapter - In the Sky
Twelfth Chapter - In the Sky
Leonard's Regret - In the Sky
Eleventh Chapter - On the Ground 1
Twelfth Chapter - Closing

And from Drakengard 3:
This Silence is Mine
Zero's Memories ~ Kuroi Uta
Four Boss Theme
Song of the Ancients (actually a NieR remix. XD; )
Two Battle Theme
Ashes of Dreams (another NieR remix! XD; )
Emil (yes, also remixed from NieR, I decided to include the NieR remixes~ )
Seere's Prayer (Drakengard 1 remix actually)
Final Boss Theme

Your best bet is to look for other Keiichi Okabe stuff. Drakengard 3's is...not as good as Nier, but I still liked it.

Have you checked out the Nier Piano Collections? Really the only thing comparable that I can think of.
Checking these out now thanks

Nier has the best OST of all time so....... yeah.

Wait for Nier 2.
:(

Nier is in a class of it's own tbh.

Try Shadow of the Colossus.
Already have it, one of my favourite OST

Nier's vocals are so interesting, especially for that made up language that resembles a mix of more than a couple languages.

When I think of Nier soundtracks, I think of operatic chorus with a tinge of Celtic influence. I found some selected OST of Ace Combat went along similar theme but with a much aggressive and powerful tone. Not entirely similar but good nonetheless.

Razgriz theme , it's more akin to the style of The Incomplete Stone than something mellower like Songs of Ancient.

Megalith Agnus Dei, the spiritual predecessor of Razgriz Theme.

Drakengard 1 soundtrack is very much an acquired taste, but I, personally, absolutely adore it. I find it mysterious, experimental, and at times panic-inducing. It barely gives you room to breathe, which makes it fit so well with the game itself. Sano and Aihara really constructed a demented masterpiece.

All that being said, NieR is sort of in a class of its own, and Okabe works a lot more in other mediums, and as guest arranger on other games.

It might not be what you're looking for but try Yoshihiro Kanno's Angel's Egg OST
