Kenny is always watching out for his sister.

So, did you guys notice that they build the Whole Foods in CtPaTown and SoDoSoPa was abandoned? Basically, the huge corporate entity choked out the small independent businesses new Kenny's house, I think.

So Comedy Central is attempting with its 11th new cartoon to follow-up South Park?

Give this shit one season.

People are wayyy too harsh. I bet you've watched like one joke and then tuned out to complain about it online. I quite like the show.

I think it's funny & the characters are all pretty ridiculous; but it works. I'm just not a big fan of the animation style, though. I watch it because what else is on this late on a Wed, and like I said, it's actually worth a few laughs.

Decent episode. Wasn't as funny as last week's. Looking forward to more on Garrison's campaign though.

Also like the Big Gay Al cameo. Kinda surprised he wasn't someone PC Principal had pointed out.

I'm guessing the SoPa bit was shirt for South Park, but what was the SoDo bit short for?

South Downtown South Park if I'm not mistaken.
Good episode but definitely not a incredibly funny one. Last week was miles better in that regard. The ads still kill and Kenny's moment was really good.

It's a play on LoDo (lower downtown) in Denver. One of the oldest settled area's of Denver. The area became a real slum in the 70s and 80s. Starting in the 90's a massive redevelopment campaign began. Some of the old rundown buildings were turned into residential areas and new development began. The Pepsi Center and Coors Field (where Denver's Hockey, Basketball and Baseball teams) were built in the area. Basically, exactly what happened to the Kenny's House District.

"With a stunning view of historic Kenny's House" killed me. Goddamn. The line about Colorado's many oceans was gold too

When did Kenny's voice get so clear? Haven't watched since around S11 and 12. I can understand him pretty much perfectly now

They tend to "clear up" his voice when he's saying something important to the story. Other times, he's still a little difficult to understand. They've been doing it for a few years whenever the situation calls for it.

Honestly, it might just be something you get used to. I can understand him most of the time in season 10+ and the entirety of the game.

I wonder if they'll keep all the new developments in the new South Park game, or destroy it all at the end of the season, like Wall-Mart.

I just missed the episode, someone give me a synopsis.

Jimmy Fallon insults South Park, so they decide to become hip and trendy, and create a high-class entertainment district around Kenny's House called SoDoSoPa, with the ultimate goal of getting a Whole Foods franchise. City Wok loses business as a result, and starts hiring child labor (including Kenny, who wants money to support his family), and even designates the area as an entertainment district called CtPaTown.

I did love the SoDoSoPa commercials. It makes me want to actually visit and enjoy the whole "nightlife" thing.

Yeah, that was great! Pity it was such a blink-and-you-miss-it moment, though.

This episode wasnt funny at all really felt like a story buildup episode. The last episode was one of the best of south park id seen in a long time tho.

My town has a Whole Foods, though I haven't been inside. Is it worth going into if I have a Costco membership and what should I get?

I love their organic, free range, locally sourced spring water.

Seriously, it's just a grocery store for people who like to smell their own farts.

Pretty much, though I can't say I'm too interested in the story at this point. First episode was decent/good, second episode was good/great, and this episode was decent I guess but just not funny whatsoever. It made some great points and it had good imagery of the people responsible for the gentrification literally beating the shit out of children, but this is South Park...it's supposed to be funny. I chuckled at the first "commercial" but that's about it. Had high hopes after last ep but if the next one is this bad I think I'm out.

huh, didn't even think about that. what if they add all those upgrades to avoid the "same game just different quests"-critique? I mean, the canadian wall is still around, right?

I feel like this current run of episodes is one of the best they have ever had. Maybe not the funniest but it's always super interesting when the show starts commenting on itself.
