This is one episode away from being the best season of south park ever, if that goal hasn't been accomplished already. The way they built everything up, the way its all come together, all the recurring jokes - its masterfully done.

South park is probably the most exciting, suspenseful show I'm watching this season, and I still can't believe it.

I'm so glad they continued it with the dystopia AI sci fi plot. That was the best part of the last episode.

As to the episode itself it was entertaining as hell. I didn't burst out laughing, but the 'NomoAuchie' had me giggle.

And of course the 'you're thinking with your dick' part.

I haven't seen Ex Machina yet, but is it really so close to that movie in particular? Last episode I got more of a Blade Runner vibe, but in general its a common Sci Fi story.

Last episode it was Blade Runner as it was the whole 'introduction' to the ads and how they're hiding among us, and one man (Jimmy) is an expert in his field who can distinguish between them.

This episode, while it could be argued was just taking from both of them as both follow a similar thread in this case, was clearly more Ex Machina. All of the following spoilers are direct references of Ex Machina, so clearly don't click them if you plan to watch the movie or care about spoilers:

EX MACHINA SPOILERS ALL TO FOLLOW:
- Jimmy interviewing Leslie and she cuts off communication/visual from the observing parties as to have a heart to heart with Jimmy to help her escape.

- Jimmy falling in love with her and deciding he wants to help her, hence the 'stop thinking with you're dick'

These last two I'll put in their own separate spoilers as they deal with the ending of Ex Machina:
- Him betraying the people that originally brought him there because he decided to 'think with his dick' and trust her over them.

- Leslie double crossing him and leaving him for dead/passed out

You could argue it as being general but the scene where she has him not look at the cameras is straight from Ex Machina.

The latest direction this arc has been going in has been pretty weak. I don't even know where they are going with this ad thing.

Every time Caitlyn ran someone down I laughed, that's probably the best running gag they've ever had on the show.
