Southern Californians - Does it feel like Summer just started?

I've experienced over 110 before, twice. It really was like walking into an oven. It "only" hit 101 here in San Jose today, and it'll be the same shit again tomorrow. Our local weather station has broken, it's been bouncing between 61 and 75 for the past hour..

And yes, it's 10:00 pm and it's still uncomfortably hot. It's like we're being tortured by the sun's reflected rays off the moon. There's no escaping the Sun's wrath.

I just remember it being unusually hot and weird right before the 94 Northridge earthquake. Maybe we're due for the next one.
 
Working for a Tech Support company that contracts out

Had some calls today at work from an ISP in California, bunch of their wireless Access Points went down due to the Heat being so bad it caused equipment to melt! That's insane yo.

Yeah, I was gonna say . . . it was damn hot up here in NorCal as well. It is almost October, I wasn't ready for this heat.
 
Didn't realize I was dehydrated today. I was wondering why I felt sick and lightheaded. Took a piss in the afternoon and it was dark yellow. :/

Had to go to the gym, so I just waited till it was dark before I left. Drank a ton of Gatorade and water throughout the day, which helped me stay hydrated and focused at the gym.

I'm happy I don't live in a place as hot as that. It's around 58 degrees max all week, with either alot of rain or mostly clouds. Fall has begun.
 
This sucks. I spent esterday in Norcal and the temp was perfect in SF. Once I got off the plane back in Socal it felt like I opened the over and stuck my head in there. Isn't it suppose to be fall already!?

No, it might have been accurate.

Official weather is always measured in the SHADE. So it may have been 120 in the sun.
 
I live in Palmdale, so it's been getting 96F and up everyday since about May.
If anything, summer is taking the last of it's rage out on us right now. It'll get cooler this October...much, much cooler. :lol
