Spartacus: Vengeance - coming to Starz in early 2012

My favorite part of the show was the last few episodes and the chemistry between crixus, battiatus, and Spartacus. A bit torn here, don't like the new Spartacus but noone could be Spartacus in my mind besides Andy so I have unreasonable expectations. The shield tap moment (if you saw it you remember it) is one of my favorite tv moments ever.
 
Woo! Looks like more of what we love from Spartacus. Plenty of blood, sex, and epic showdowns. Not sure how I'm going to see this with the Starz-Netflix deal coming to an end, but I'll find a way. Great stuff!

If its up on vudu or zune I am actually going to pay for it there.... Last year I watched it on netflix and kind of regret it now. That is one show that deserves HD and 1080p at that. They both have the previous seasons on there right now so I am hoping they have a deal with starz for their new stuff too.

I am pumped to watch the new season....
 
Dammit, why does this have to be on Starz? This is the ONLY production on that network that interested me, and was THE reason why I loved Netflix earlier this year. Now I'm going to have to go to their website to try to watch it. Boo.

I should say that for all the praise received by Spartacus' absurdly hot female cast, my gay friend and his husband also enjoy the shit out of this show. Spartacus truly has something for everybody.
 
Only a month away. Spartacus has easily been one of my favourite series since it debuted. So much suspense, blood, sex, more blood, more sex, and a few Jupiter cocks dropped each episode.
 
I'm also extremely psyched for the new season. Will be awesome to see
Crixus, Oenameus and Gannicus
again. Though I'm gonna miss Andy very much...

I wonder how they'll handle being out in the open though. GotA and Blood and Sand worked (partly) because there was a limited cast and two or three locations. With enough room for scheming. Are Ashur etc. just gonna cruise along with the roaming army? Really curious, though I'm sure it'll be great.
 
They took Gods of the Arena off Netflix :(

So I hope they air Vengeance... even if a week later after air date.
I have a strange feeling they wont.

Starz and netflix's deal is nearly up (if it isn't already), so don't expect it.
 
Im still depressed about Andy....what a shame....last season was pretty good...but it will never be AS good as the first.

As long as Peter Mensah is still in beast mode and on course to fuck up Ashua and Crixus and Gannicus get their bro fight, I will stay interested. But I remain sceptical about the lack of the ludus and the intimacy and consitency it offered the show, not to mention that Andy is missing and the Batiatus family is down.

PS: I got the blu-ray set and watching the series in great pic quality for the first time, so great.
 
I'm looking forward to it, but I can't really see how the show can top previous seasons without Batiatus, who was the heart of the show.

I'm pretty sure the Ludus is still going to play a big part in the show. It's heavily implied in the trailers that Glaber and Lucretia move into the ludus and will be conducting their operations from there. Plus Lucy Lawless will still be around. So Im going to guess that most of the scenes dealing with the Roman side of things will take place in the Ludus still.
