Spider-Man 2 PS5 Official Launch Trailer

You can see it in the entire trailer.. shadow detail is lost from most of the scenes… I don't know if it is deliberate to make the image pop more or an error because is the first time I see it in spider man 2 footage..
Maybe it's your display. I see plenty of shadow detail..

But anything is a spoiler once they tell you. That's like saying it was a spoiler that Kraven is in the game. You didn't know until they showed Kraven.. Same withing with Venom.
well its the same as going to see a movie ! do you want to see key scenes before paying money and seeing it for yourself ?

It's not the same. It's like saying, I don't want to know this actor is in the movie.... or anything about the movie, even the title.

Who said this is a key scene? Clearly Insomniac doesn't think it is...

Nope, black levels are wrong by a mile here. It's affecting the whole trailer, but it's easiest to see at 9 sec mark here:

cancelled my pre-load /pre order

I know you are joking, but to be clear: this is a trailer issue that naturally won't affect the game itself. This has to be deliberate thing; an entertainment behemoth like Sony just doesn't do mistakes like this. It's a baffling decision though...

yeah of course I'm joking , hopefully its not present when we play it.

Nope. The doubters will want to forget. I won't let them.

Just bumped it. Thought it would be good to have comparisons done in that thread.

It could just be an artistic choice. It's not really up to us to tell developers how light or dark their game should be.

However, in before the onslaught of posters that would say `I really wanted to pay it but it's just so dark its giving me headaches`. It would be subtle of course

post 1 - games dark though
post 2 - thought I was the only one that noticed it
post 3- was really looking forward to this but will be sipping for now until it gets patched
post 4 - I wanted to play a game not a cinematic movie, games broken
post 5.......etc

It's not an issue with the game - the trailer is just mastered like that for some reason or another.

Also, messed up gamma / black levels is not an artistic choice and not about how light or dark the image is.

Got a few Amazon vouchers for my birthday last week, ordered this purely based on the hype and thale first few minutes of that leaked gameplay video. I enjoyed the first one but didn't finish it. I got tired of the tedious open world side shit.

I meant for the trailer.

I am not worried about it in the final game being that we have seen preview gameplay and the issue wasn't there.

People are so silly, they aren't going to put spoilers in the trailer unless you think seeing anything at all is a spoiler
Spoilers can be highly subjective.

People are talking about Super Mario Wonder "spoilers". If people think a Mario game can have a spoiler then anything could be considered a "spoiler" 😅
