Spider-Man Homecoming - Official Trailer #2

Bobby, you get quite upset at people who don't like what they consider to be spoilers.

Nah. That's not upset. That's just disagreement. Like for example:

It's okay man, you don't care about that stuff, other people do. They're not wrong or dumb for thinking this trailer shows too much.

Nah, it's almost always wrong and dumb.

Just because people are frequently wrong and dumb about silly bullshit doesn't mean I should not say something when I think it applies to the conversation.

That's a weird request to make, ain't it?

I'm surprised American high schools are still touting around educational Captain America videos considering Steve Rodgers is currently a wanted fugitive.

Has anyone complained about being spoiled from the title of something alone?

Captain America is a brand, Steve just wears it

They are not "wrong and dumb" for thinking this trailer shows too much of the movie.

And it's okay that you don't care. But good lord, relax.

I like the the fact that Tony now acknowledges that you must be a hero even without the suit. That was the whole point of Iron Man 3 (which I liked it)

can someone please explain: what the orange and yellow divide is up on the top left, as well as what the grey around namor and kingpin mean?

also if this is the most updated, it implies that disney can use all the other spiderman characters besides spiderman. i thought they could use only spiderman

Does universal have any say because we need a She Hulk movie

Sure they are. It's a ridiculous stance to hold

People are wrong and dumb all the time, as you've pointed out. It shouldn't be such a surprising statement.

And again: I'm not upset. Dunno why you keep trying to go with that.

Kingpin is part of both spiderman and daredevil hence both can use him. Marvel has the rights to Hulk but universal has the publishing rights to hulk movies.

It at the very least spoiled the crashing plane setpiece and that his buddy knows his real identity. No reason the trailer couldn't have been cut without those reveals. The rest of the stuff was fine, but I don't begrudge people feeling disgruntled by the trailer. At the very least, there's no reason to be condescending and shitty about it.

looks ok nothing special.

Visually its look quite bland. Strange considering asm2 was very bright and colour full

I think people might be edging pretty close to "wrong and dumb" for watching a piece of promotional material voluntarily and then complaining that it showed too much. The purpose is to sell you on the movie. If you already intended on seeing this movie, why are you watching the second trailer? Think about that. You saw the first one. You intend on seeing the movie. So you watched the second trailer to see more. And you got what you asked for lol.

It's the same thing in every trailer thread. Too much. Too much. Too much.

I wouldn't flat out say anyone is wrong or dumb. You feel how you feel. Maybe you got more than you bargained for. I'd say best option would be to stop watching trailers for movies you already plan on watching, or expect "twists" from. It's a fairly simple solution. Trailers are less spoilery than they've ever been, to the point where they're cut to decieve and purposefully obscure things just to sell the movie better.

I enjoyed the trailer, but there is quite a bit in it that kinda told half of the movie.

But I know there's more to this movie. Still pumped to see it in July!

Didn't Steve allude to the fact he wasn't a virgin in Winter Solider?

Like...how, Steve?

Well think about the small amount of opportunities he had before he got iced

him and Peggy still did it

First trailer had Ned finding out

Eh.

It looks solid enough but once again this feels like Sony (albeit with Marvel) are rolling the dice again hoping that this time Spider-Man becomes a franchise they can bring back and back and back and back and back and back....,

I actually liked the redemption angle of the film but it didn't really do anything for me beyond that, but in saying that it's not me that SPE have to bring in with a trailer like this.

Amazing! So much better than anything DC tries to do.

Unbelievable.

Winner concentrate on winning.

Losers concentrate on winners.

Thank you too. There are movies that show where the plot will go and there are trailers like this that show you 100% of the first half and show everything except the last fight with the final hit like this one.

Trailers are supposed to generate interest for the movie and not dehype the whole thing by showing almost every amazing scene. I would wager to say that now nothing will surprise me anymore except the post credit scene.

I take it he doesn't sign the Sokovia accords in this? What was the point of CW again?

I don't think you can make that assumption yet. The point of CW was to debate the legality of being a superhero and the effects of it won't be fully revealed until the next Avengers movie. But you knew that.

I hope that all the people that are bitching about Stark aren't the same people who rejoiced when it was announced that Spidey would join the MCU. I mean, what did you expect?

Lol @ trend of adding diversity to characters who are normally white
Nothing wrong with that. Did you also complain when the Ancient One in Dr Strange wasn't Asian?
