Can't wait.

Hm, that's a nice name but I don't know how I feel about the logo. Something about the way the "Spiderman" is bowled. I like the "Homecoming" part though.

The fact that it is bowled is why it reminds everyone of classic comic titles.

It's rare for Spidey logos to not be. Only ones I can think of are the terribly bland ones like the previous movies and Ultimate.

Everyone should calm down, the Guradians of the Galaxy Logo was in the beginning pure shit, too and that changed once the movie moved into shooting and Dr. Strange got a new one, too.

Calm down, it will get a cool one, too.

Wow. Holy shit. Someone got paid to make that logo. Someone picked that logo from a list of other, better logos (lets face it, none of them coulda been worse than this). Just unbelievable.

The first Doctor Strange logo was better though

Honest question for the people who seem to really dislike the logo:

How do you feel about the previous 5 spider-man movie logos? Like them more than this one or less? Any specific reasons?

I may be in the minority but I hope they don't change it. It's comic booky and really different to what they've used previously.

Logo is fine. Subtitle is fine. This is a comic book movie, yes.

Lots of wannabe graphic artists on GAF like to pick apart anything

Bingo. It's a great way to differentiate this with the previous Spider Man movies. And fits his MCU personality well based on what we've been told about him.

"Cool" logos are overrated anyway, since everyone's trying to do that. Better to have something that can stand above the crowd.

We know from Ant-Man's marketing that Marvels willing to be a bit tongue-in-cheek and bring a bit more personality to it (and Deadpool has shown everyone how it's done). So this goes with that trend as well.

Perfect logo and title for the John Hughes tone they are shooting for.

Can Peter defeat the evil plan and still make it to the dance on time?

I love it!

Did the white colored word "Homecoming" really had to have what looks like Spider-man's face sprayed/splat-ed on the 'coming' part?

I guess he is still young...discovering his POWER.

I think it looks fine. Looks very retro like the suit. Gives off a very different vibe than the previous ones, which seems to be the point.
I don't get what's so bad about the subtitle.

to clear things up for everybody. Marvel Studios has nothing to do with the animated spider-man film. it's not part of the MCU, it's all sony

i could roll with it. just the thing is...i'm still kinda sour that they didn't pick dylan o'brien. i know that makes me sound like a sore loser coz there's nothing that can be done about it,

and i've no doubt that tom holland will deliver, so i should just focus on the positives. all of the positives coz there's a whole lot of them.

It's funny. Arad is in charge of Animated Spider-Man too and no one is screaming for his head there. Maybe he'll do the right thing and select a good team for that too.

Honestly, it's fine with me as long as it's standalone. Just don't want him touching anything that has any influence over the MCU. A venom movie being a piece of shit could mean we'd never get him in the MCU Spidey movies.

Problem is Venom doesnt work without Spider-man. How would they do the Origin. Plus Venom will probably end up being a Villian and then Parnter a la the Winter Soldier.

I don't think that's an issue. Catwoman the movie being utterly horrendous didn't stop the Anne Hathaway version from appearing in DKR.

Venom is an alien space monster. He can have an origin without Spider-Man. His relationship with Spider-Man has always been completely incoherent anyway.
