Splatoon 2 Testfire Thread: This is a port...able game now

Ugh, I don't know what' s going on my all of a sudden my switch is just getting constant "Could not perform DNS name resolution." errors. It makes no sense, every other device is still working normally on my network and it has successfully connected before. I reset the router/modem and reconnected it and still no luck. So frustrating, and there's like no support online for the issue that I can find...
Try restarting the console, not just putting it in sleep. I had issues a few days ago and a restart cleared them.

So far, no issues. Daughter and I are both playing on our switches with no issue yet

Played 3, 1 won, lost 2.

I seem to be better with the roller than the other weapon I tried - Dulies.

Never played the first Splatoon, so this is new to me. Great fun, zero connection issues.

I keep pushing X to jump and end up opening the map. I've died so many times to that. Other than that it seems cool but very derivative.

I'm fine but I'm hardwired in. I really do recommend getting one of those 10 dollar amazon adapters.

The other 2 testfires I've done didnt have this problem at all.

Its not my connection.

I really think its something in this time slot and number of players

After playing with the Game Pad on Wii U for so long I'm terrible with the joycons. The analogs seem pretty bad for this sort of game.

Guess I'm gonna need to pick up a Pro controller for this game.

I suck yet my 9yo daughter is kicking ass, lol she's never played before but this seems to be her jam. She's really curious about the exports for this thing. Any details on that.

So good! I started in tabletop mode using the pro controller then went downstairs with it in handheld mode then came upstairs and through it on the tv...its all seemless!

I know I will get used to this, but I hate that I can only close the map with X. I instinctively hit B a lot and it's a nuisance at best, and it gets me killed at worst.

Been playing playing constantly on the indoor stage with one exception so far this round. I really wouldn't mind the other one again Nintendo...

That feel when you get guys on your team that clearly haven't mastered using an analog stick to control a character in 3D.

At least I'm consistently best on my team. Only with the Splattershot or the Dualies though.

Anyone feel like the specials are really low power compared to the ones in Splatoon 1? The Inkjet is so much weaker than the Inkzooka, and I think I got 1 kill with the Tenta Missiles in something like 30 of playtime.

You can change the motion controls via the title screen, but that seems to be only place to access it. I almost closed out of the app and then I noticed it.

It is interesting that people on a gaming forum can't figure out how to change controller settings. ._.

Well it's also sort of dumb if you can't change them while in a game. I think I tried most of the buttons and nothing worked, but noticed it on the title screen after the match ended.
