I bought a pro controller specifically for Splatoon, would be funny if the split joy con setup was better

Wow the roller jump swing is such a nerf right now, I never realised how much I habitually jump when trying to ambush squidkids

Press ZR, then jump. You can still horizontally swing on a jump.

Gotta figure a lot of people in America are at work or in school still or just getting out. Europe is getting home or having dinner. It's the start of the weekend in Japan now.

I will say though if you want to get really good at Splatoon then play during Japan's peak hours if you can. You'll get wrecked and be forced to improve how you play.

I think the motion controls suck? Can they be disabled? Or is joycon better than pro controller for them?

Man, I thought playing on the handheld was great, but playing with split joycon controllers, UGH. Hated it. Didn't work well at all, IMO.

This is what make it such a good game, you dont have to be great at shooting and still be good. Even if you wanted to use a shooting weapon you can contribute by just painting the ground in turf war
