Honestly with W101 and Splatoon, along with the likes of Kid Icarus and Kirby, it's crying out for Nintendo to launch a new Saturday Morning Super Mario Show.Platinum is clearly skipping straight to a W101 anime... Honestly I'd just kill for more W101 ANYTHING. But this is pretty cool for splatoon
EDIT: Forgot to mention Pokemon too. Haven't seen it for a couple of series, but it was still going strong last time I checked.

The Zelda manga is excellent, they do a great job adapting the stories into something readable. Majora's mask and 4 swords are the best of those I've read.
i wonder what this manga will be based on. The single player story or multiplayer?

I think Nintendo have gone past the point of promoting Splatoon to shoving it in every direction possible and telling us how good it is. It seems to me like Nintendo are advertising the hell out of Splatoon.
Is that something they do in Japan, black and white manga full color front and vice versa.?
The game is already full of drills so i think it'd be an easy task For them.

Full-color front and black and white manga is the standard, but I've never heard of the opposite. I thought colored manga was really, really rare. I don't read it much, but I do know that coloring takes a long time, is expensive and that some details can get lost too in some instances.

Looked around some more, but apparently not. Unless there's a seperate Coro Coro publisher and they happen to have similar names.
But yeah, "LOL, SO RANDOM" seems to be their goto humour, so I'm not expecting too much from this Splatoon thing

I bought Korokoro, this is the booklet inside of the super thick magazine. I don't own a scanner here, so evernote will have to do. It's 13 pages long! Not bad.

That's exactly what it is, haha. An introduction on how battles work, and a small amount of information about inklings in the first couple of pages. The Cat referee has some speaking lines too. I won't spoil too much, just getting the images ready now.

Seeing as how most manga limit their colour palette to to light colours becoming white and darker colours becoming grey/black; lest you want more goop of a certain look, it BETTER be in colour

I'm glad they're branching the franchise out as much as they can. I love the art style they chose so I'm always down for more Splatoon related stuff

Cool! It's just that the charcter design in Splatoon is so nice and appealing that it needs to appear in other mediums such as comics or manga in this case... Hope the game sells well so we can see the Splatoon IP to expand more, maybe even an anime like Pokémon?
I'd love a 3d animated show using the actual assets from the game. I think it could be possible if they have the right animators working on it. I think the Sonic Boom TV show is sorta like that, although I don't know if they use assets from the game or not.
I...feel like I really need to read that..
